Usually Visa is 6 months. However; when you will get your green card upon arrival it will be for 2 years. I wonder why your visa is for 2 and half months.

cuz it includes ur medical dates to, so like say if ur medical was done in nov and they issued u visa in march , so including ur medical and ur visa ur good till may cuz ur medical expires in may so they issued like that., make sure u leave the counrty and reach to states before ur medical expires

Congratulations. You mentioned two dates (Jan 10 and Jan 22) for documents submission which one is correct. As per your analysis they look for cases 60 days from interview date or submission date ? just asking for information sake. My spouse interview in Mumbai on 06 Feb 2013 received 221(g) to submit a specific document we submitted on 24th Feb 2013.

my submition was on jan 10 th and it took almost 57 days all i can say keep on writing everyday to support india and before you write dont forget about prayer

hey everybody i found out this interesting thing about my case ,,... i cannot tell you or explain you how i did but here it is , on 1st my case were updated but status was same that time , my case was waiting in que with bunch of people also received 221 g for the officer review and around a week on 7th march my case file was reviewed by the officer so after the review he already declared the decision but then he put my case again on AP cuz at that time they were waitin for vfs officer or their people get at embassy or conulate to pick up my passport so.. on same day when actually i got visa or printed my visa they updated my status finally.i also found that people who got their 2 nd 221 g they were struggling . dont ask me how and why cuz Im "G" lol jk ,... but i heard it and thats all folks

Thanks Gkanki for the reply but I am sending email to ustarveldocs and my hubby is also calling almost everyday to DOS but alas! same reply..I am surprised after Jan 25, 2013, they didn't update my case status date as well...very upset in this moment..

my wife had interview on 22 nov and got 221 g and then we subbmited docs on 10 jan . and then my status date chenged on 1 of march for same AP then today in morning it changed to ready about 11:30 it changed to AP again ,...aprox 1 pm it changed to issued

dont worry you will all get visa one day, just think like this day by day you are goin close to your visa call .i have been waitied enough 3years.

so happy to share this info to you guys that today on 7 th march my long long long journey has co e to an end . my wife got her visa . thank you for everything and thanks for help who ever help me in my case . praise the lord. one thing i believe today that nothing is possible without prayers.

its been 57 days, since my subbmition ,...you should contact your embassy or consulate , try to find out why they taking this much long time did u try to call em?

I have only called like 3 times in about a months time but I always get the same lady. today she didn't even bother ask my brothers details, just my sister-in-laws. I asked her if they were even working on her case and she reassured me they were but wouldn't tell me how much longer. Just the same ap #######

This wait is killer. I literally spend all day either checking if someone on this site got their visas yet after ap or if there is a change in my status on ceac website. Thank you everyone that posts here it makes my days a little easier.

Its been 36 days since we been in ap, though it feels forever because right after my bhabi my cousin had her interview and she was approved. A few days after that my bhabi's friend got approved. Makes one wonder why us? We have a million plans on what we want to do once my bhabi gets here. Like parties, gifts we want to give her. Buying her a car and etc. I think we were the most excited off all and we are the ones stuck waiting the most.

How much longer do you guys think its gonna take?

its all depends just think that each day u passed ur getting close to ur pending decision ...i have been waiting for 50 days so...keep couting days lol
