Am so sorry about this, i think your fiance should write a letter as a the CO suggested... stating he is willing to support you also probably to the tune of how much, like a monthly allowance or something. He should attach his bank statements and also request a cover letter from the bank, stating why he is requesting the bank statement.

I believe the CO needs your fiance to prove he is willing and ready to support you if he can only show evidence that he is capable. I hope this helps

Please i will like a confirmation on the actual birth certificate required. As the beneficiary, the birth certificate i have is the one given at birth, but i came across a review here on VJ that suggested an UNABRIDGED BIRTH CERTIFICATE and also another review that suggested a FORMAL /LONG BIRTH CERTIFICATE. Am kinda confused is it that i have to get a more formal birth certificate?

Secondly, do i need to go for the interview with my fiance's(the petitioner)original birth certificate as well?
