  1. Hi. :) We received Mike's visa last week.. yes, SO FAST! So now all we need to do is get Mike's CFO done... Hopefully will be able to book our tickets in the next couple of weeks also. When are you guys planning to fly out?

  2. YEAH!!!! So happy for you guys... I hope to keep in touch. THanks so much for all your assistance with my (sometimes silly) questions. Your wife is very lovely. I was so happy to meet you both in person today.

  3. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR APPROVAL!!!!! So nice to meet you guys in person today. :)

  4. See you tomorrow, Dave! Bright and Early!!! :)

  5. Ok...the 2 part booster shot makes sense... Also looking forward to meeting you. YOu know what I look like but I cant' say the same about you, so you will have to be the one who finds us. :)

  6. Hey... FYI, Mike just completed his Medical at St. Luke's yesterday. Passed with flying colors! So we are still on track for the March 19 Interview. :)

BTW... Mike said the doctor told him he would have to have a couple of his vaccines when he arrives in the States. Did they tell your wife the same thing???

  7. Ok. thanks... i think it's too late for me to get it... I'll just put faith in the trusty NSO birth certificate... that's what worked for out I-130. Thanks again.

  8. I just double checked the package requirements for interview at US Embassy manila... they mention CENOMAR forsingle people (I assumefor K-1) but nothing for married people...just NSO copy of marriage certificate... not sure what the other Vj'ers are thinking... :/

  9. Thanks Dave.yeah, I figure I'll just try and if they request more info then so be it. Did you get a CEMAR??? I noticed on another thread something about this... Did you get one?

  10. Hey Dave...any feedback about the Medical??? Any tips according to your wife's experience?

  11. That's great! Mike is going to St. Luke's next week... he has to go to NBI tomorrow to pick up his NBI. Hope he doesn't run into any more delays.

  12. Hi, I would just like to get your opinion. I-864 - tax forms. I have back taxes i need to file, but can't do online. would have to mail them snail mail...and then wait for tax transcript to be sent to me here in PH. too long! what if i just submit my(un-sent)filled out 2011 1040 form and 2555ez. I have co-sponsor with all financial requirements so maybe they won't be so strict with...

  13. Oh BTW. Does your wife already have her NBI clearance??? My husband went this week and they told him and basically the entire room to come back on the 27th of this month. Shouldn't cause any problem with our March 19 interview, but if she hasn't already gotten it, she should go.. like now...

  14. Due to my crazy work schedule I haven't had a chance to call. But I resent the forms to the email. What format did you use in the subject file? Did you put spaces between the case number, last name, first name? I think perhaps I didn't put the subject line right. If it's returned to me again, i will call.

  15. I emailed the DS forms to the USEmbassy at the address you gave me, but I just received a notice today that they don't have any record of my husband's case???!!!! I will give them a call tomorrow. :(

  16. Wow!!! We'll be able to encourage each other as I'm sure we'll be full of nerves on the 19th! Good luck getting all of your things together before the 19th. I'm still finalizing some paperwork. ugh... but I'm sure it'll all be done in time. :)

  17. It helps greatly! thanks! Oh, I traveled to Cambodia a couple of years ago. It's amazing -- very earthy, rustic, and mysterious. Hope it works out for you to go. :)

  18. hmmm... I wonder why there is an inconsistency in their officers??/ anyway, I will send the ds forms via email just to make sure. I would love the email address. This is for the DS-230part1 and DS2001,right??/ I'm excited about your interview!!! yeah! :)

  19. I see that the US Embassy received your case. So i assume you got your case number and were able to schedule an interview???? :)

  20. Hi Dave,

www.traveldocs.com/ph -- Click "Apply for a Visa" -- new page click "I do not meet any of the conditions above, and I wish to schedule an immigrant visa appointment". As for the "lock out" procedure...didn't happen to me... don't know about it. Hope this helps. :)

  21. To start with you should check the USEmbassy Manila website for the procedure for IR/CR visas. That's what I did to start. And then look at the I-130 instructions for further explanation about what types of evidence is needed...

  22. Hello. :) I got your message about the requirements for the I-130 procedure here in Manila. May I know a bit more about your situation? How long have you and your US husband been married? Do you have any children together? How long did you date before you were married? Is your husband here with you now, and if so, how long have you both been living in the Philippines together? I'm happy to ...

  23. Yes, Dave, there were still many dates available in February...the earliest was Feb 4! I intentionally scheduled my interview for march 19 because I'm waiting on some documents from my mom. It's interesting that the Embassy officer told you to submit the DS forms at the window and the one I spoke with told me to submit the DSforms with everything else at the interview... hmmmmmm????...

  24. Hi Dave. :) My husband and I are living in Binan, Laguna. I'm from the States and he's originally from San Pedro, Laguna. I was actually surprised our I-130 got approved so quickly. I'm overwhelmed with everything that has to happen next. So that's why I joined this site, but this VJ site is also quite overwhelming? You having any luck?
