After reading several more posts, and not finding much info, I think the best course of action is to put the correct address in the application and hope for the best.
Hopefully, wiser heads will chime in.

Hello everyone!
I really screwed up, I typed a 0 instead of a 6 on the street address for an AR-11 and did not catch it for months.
Now I am applying to remove the conditions on my wife's Green Card and I don't know if I should put the typo address on the form i-751 or the correct address on it?
Our driver's licenses and bank statements have the correct address on them.
I think we are in big trouble now.
Any advice? Thank you

The whole thing with the hospital is a scam. They take a large percentage of the applicants going through there and say they see a spot or scar tissue on their lungs. This comes from an employee working there.
They do this so the hospital looks good to the embassy.
Contact one of your congressional representatives and see if they can do a congressional inquery for you.

We are in the same situation. You can travel abroad while the conditions are being removed as it can take up to one year according to http://www.visajourney.com/content/751guide
But, the biometrics issue is a problem. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in.

I have been reading up a little and the guide says the spouse "....may also apply for the same type of visa in order to accompany or join the principal applicant." The spouse applies for a H1B visa also?
I thought the spouse had to apply for a H-4 visa. If so, what is the process/time line?
I'm asking because I was asked by my wife's company to assist them.
Thank you. -
Sorry, one year to go from noa1 to a decision and approval on the application I-130. Not the visa, that'll take longer.

Yep! NOA2 not until late April of 2014.
I wonder if they pushed us back because I contacted my representative.
-
I'm ticked!
NOA1 was made on April 28th. I waited the 5 months and called USCIS, found out my wife's visa is at Missouri and that they had no information about it.
I contacted my senator and an enquiry was made on my behalf. I just received a message back from my representative that USCIS said they will be finished with her visa at the end of April. 1 year for NOA2!

Thank you everyone for your help.

According to the guide, the joint sponsor must be residing in the US. I assume I would have to wait for the packet of forms received after NOA2 and to fill those out before my Co-sponser and I could go to the Philippines as the Co-sponser has to reside in the US to qualify. Is this correct?
From what I am reading about the definition of domiciled, my co-sponsor can be outside of the US if he shows strong ties to his house and a reason to return.

Hello, I'm new to the forum but have been reading the different threads.
I will be marrying my Filipina finance in Bahrain this February. She is currently working in Bahrain, but she will be leaving in July to go back home to the Filippines.
I'll be using a financial co-sponser ( my Dad) as I am currently a full time student taking classes on line. I do own a home and do have money in the bank. My Dad and I may be moving to the Philippines in July for 6-7 months while we wait for her visa to come through. I was thinking about renting the house out while I am away.
Should I file in the US for her IR-1/CR-1, or should I file when I am in the Philippines? Will there be a problem with filing in March before she moves back to the Philippines? What am I missing?
I have been reading about US petitioners filing abroad having their petition wait time significantly reduced, but the last posting was in December and it is believed that the expedited service is no longer available. visajourney.com/forums/topic/357465-usc-petitioner-living-abroad/page__st__330

Hello and welcome. You will find this site very helpful. You could post your questions in the IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures forum;
DCF is only available in certain countries and can only be used when the petitioner has been legally resident in the beneficiary's country for 6 months.
Thank you everyone. I'll post in the IR-1/ CR-1 forum.

I'm Daniel from Boise, Idaho. My soon to be wife's name is Jancille.Se met on Catholic match and things seem to move very fast on Skype. I have been doing a lot of research and the whole process of bringing her here sure seems intimidating.
If everything works out we will be having a civil wedding in February, and the actual wedding ( we are Catholic) in December.
I do have some questions about filing the CR1 in the states vs doing a DCF.
Where should I post the questions?

Thank you Charmander and Dave&Roza.
I filed the application with the correct addresses.
Charmander, I'm assuming the receipt numbers will be the one(s) I receive after USCIS accepts the application, right?
