Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at USCIS office in:

    City: State:

I live in MN and I will send my application in Chicago, IL. So I am confuse do I need to put Chicago, IL in above section. Or Saint Paul, MN.

Answer will be My local USCIS office ( Saint Paul, MN) or Chicago, IL where I am going to send my application ??

  4. Hi VeeNDee ,

Thank you for your reply . how many total passport size photo we need for marriage GC ?

I'm working through this right now myself. I ended up searching for sample cover letters to help me organize how to put it all together.

Here are some that I found:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/352906-aos-cover-letter/

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/96872-aos-cover-letter-example/

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/105613-cover-letter/

I am working off the last one and modifying to fit what I have. Changing the names, the dates, and adding/deleting stuff that I have or don't have. Basically organizing it into 3 sections for each part of the application (AOS, EAD, and AP). But it sure is overwhelming trying to keep track of all this stuff! And then to make a copy for my own records too... aghhh. Going to be spending a lot of this weekend photocopying parts of passports and forms! I just got 6 passport photos yesterday.

    Good luck!!!

  5. I am going to send my application forms (I-130, G-325A, I-864, I-485, I-765) and other documents (9 month bank statement, phone bill, electricity bill, car insurance paper and so many other documents) for marriage CG in USA.

There are so many papers and I am confused how to organize in evolves. Anybody give me any tips how to organize the documents?

    Thank you

  6. right now i am in f1 and got married few months ago in USA

Are you adjusting from a K-1? Or is it some other type of visa? If a K-1, no need for any pictures.

right now i am in f1 and got married few months ago in USA

Great question! Hard to know how to answer you, though, as we've no clue what yer adjusting from. Please fill out yer timeline over at http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=150621 and you'll get some pointed, direct answers. Thanks so much !

  7. What will be best, sending relationship pictures in photo album or thumbnail color print in A4 size paper? Please share your experience how you sent in your case. Its for marriage GC process in USA.

If I send in thumbnail size what you think maximum how many pages do i need to send? I am thinking to keep 4/6 pictures in one A4 size paper.

  8. I-485 sample form is wrong in visajourney website.

    http://www.visajourney.com/examples/INS-Form-I-485.pdf

look part 1 : Information about You

Family Name : Smith Given Name : Jane Middle: Joan

Now Look Part 3 section B:

Family Name : Smith Given Name : Jane Middle: J

I think here is the person wife/husband name who is filling this form.

I suggest to VisaJourney.Com website administrator please only upload 100% correct form because so many people make your form as reference for their applications.

  9. Really finger print will be only for non immigrant not USA spouse (US citizen)? then i dont have any bad things and always clean person.and visited many countries through school scholarship program.. Europe, USA.:):)

What's an "international citizen" anyway? :) She doesn't have to go through background check. They fingerprint only the beneficiary and not the petitioner. So, relax and have a drink!!! Don't do pot though. :)

  10. On this card, the CBP officer records either a date or duration of status (D/S) in the lower right hand corner.

Some students, exchange program participants, and temporary workers (e.g., foreign diplomats) will be admitted for D/S. If you have D/S on your Form I-94, you may remain in the U.S. as long as you continue your course of studies, remain in your exchange program, or qualifying employment. Link:travel.state.gov/visa/temp/info/info_1298.html#2

I think its fine for student if there is no expiration date in i-94.

There shouldnt be a DATE it should say D/S on I-94 or: Duration of Status either one. For F-1 there can not be a date of expiration on I-94 but " D/S".

Check if it says D/S on your I-94 or stamp.

  11. Yes, there is departure date and f1/f2 d/s stamp.

So i am thinking to write :

    Current USCIS Status: F1

    Expires on: NONE

in I-485 Form Question. Anybody have any advice what will best to write NONE or my i-20 expire date ?

There shouldnt be a DATE it should say D/S on I-94 or: Duration of Status either one. For F-1 there can not be a date of expiration on I-94 but " D/S".

Check if it says D/S on your I-94 or stamp.

  12. Question 1

Applicants Residence last Five Years. List Present address first

Here, I lived with my friend and apartment was registered in my friend name. So is it necessary to write C/O Friend Name, Full Address. If I write c/o then space is not enough. What should I do?

    Question 2,

    I-485: Form Question

    Current USCIS Status: F1

    Expires on:???

There is no Expires date in my I-94. And my passport visa date already expired but I have valid I-20 from school for 2(Aug,2015) years. Please help what I need to write in Expires on section?

    Thank you
