That's fantastic! I will be praying for both of you. It's hard to believe that I will be with my wife in another 26 days. We will meet in Manila for a thrid honeymoon then I will attend her interview with her on July 9. We will wait around in Manila until the 12th hopefully getting the visa by then, then fly to Cebu to close out all of her things down there, say goodby to family and friends and of course get that very important CFO STICKER affixed to her VISA/PASSPORT. (Has your wife completed her CFO class yet?) Then we will fly back to Hawaii together on July 20. WOW, what a day that will be!!
Aloha Ke Akua
CFO class? I dont know that probably not. Yes only one more month of waiting!

Congratulations, Far as I can tell Philippines takes 3-5 working days. I hope so because I will be there with my Filipina wife for her interview, also on the 9th. Hopefully all goes well as I had to purchase plane tickets already. One round trip from Hawaii and the other one way to Hawaii. Boy am I excited. Maybe we will see you in line in Manila?
Aloha Ke Akua (God is love)
I can't, used up all my leave last year. I plan on buying tickets hopefully last last week of July. Excited. Can't wait to see her again.

I'm so happy checked my email today my wife got the interview date at July 9, 2013. We got case complete may 22nd. Now how long do u have to wait for the visa after the interview?
-
our case complete was sent May 22nd through email and i'm still waiting for an interview date
I wonder how long much longer i have to wait. I called NVC a day ago they said they're just awaiting capacity and there's no estimate. Makes me want to hammer that guy's face down but that's just me thinking out loud.

is there someone in here who was able to obtain a tax return transcript for 2012?
you don't need the tax transcripts if you did your taxes right you can also sent the 1040 tax return form. I had to confirm this by calling NVC and they said they'll accept that too.

Should i wait for my tax return or give NVC my most recent one which is 2011 instead of 2012? I don't want to wait anymore I just received my case# to file for the affidavit of support and choice of agent. It's april 7th 2013 and i'm still waiting for my 2012 tax return and they want my most recent one so technically i don't have my 2012 tax return yet can i use my 2011 tax return for the AOS?

My wife is the beneficiary. Yes it is a problem i told her not to go but she insists. Why would you need a police clearance in a country that you're not a resident in the first place?

I got my Notice of Action 2 last March 15th but my wife wants to work at Saudi Arabia while waiting for the petition. Would this affect the petition in anyway? If so how? I told her to wait but she's adamant about it..

I finally figured it out. I am using a program called Ad Muncher which blocks advertisements in browsers. It might be that it thinks that that section is somehow an Ad and blocks it but why? Disabled it and it works perfectly.

Hi i recently joined the site. I wanted to create a timeline for a I-130 petition but the visa data section appears to be blank and I can't even submit it. It's asking for a petitioner's name and I can't even see any text box to type in my name.
Tried watching the videos, searching the forum but nothing helps. I guess i'll just have to write my timeline on paper if it still doesn't work.
Interview dilemma
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures

My wife's interview is near she still has some doubts because she had a form I-140 immigrant petition for alien worker back in 2009. I told her it does not matter now because it's almost done and it's two different petitions not related to each other. Her spouse visa is almost done just need the interview. Question is will that affect the decision during the interview or it does not matter at all?
