  1. Nevertary. Congratulations. The system is never alwaya reliable but from your post you have been approved.

Congratulations again. You will get your card soon

    Cheers.

    Hello everyone,

I just wanned to give an update about my case... yesterday, my husband went to see the IO who interviewed us, Luckily, he took the new Medical form with him, when he explained what happened .. she just asked him if he has the medical with him. She took it from him in person. After he got home, I received an email stating that they ordered the production of my card. then I received another saying that they sent me a mail about registering me as a permanent resident. but they didn't send me an approval notice! is that normal? and now my online status is on the Decision stage n't the card production... it's just like it went backwards after it was on the card production!

    Any clues??

  2. Greetings.

I am male, European citizen who is married to a US citizen.

In G-325A i have to fill the gaps for Biographical information.

I have to fil one application for my self (European Citizen, male) and one application with my Wife's information.

In the black box at the bottom of the page it says applicant.

So i am asking: do i have to put in both G-325A my name? (Male european citizen)

Do you have an alien number? If not, put N/A

  3. Greetings.

I am a male European citizen who got married to a US citizen.

We are filling papers for my green card.

In the G-325A Biogtaphic information on page 1 at the bottom of the page there is a black box that need to be filled.

It says: Family name, given name, middle name and alien registration number.

What should i put in the Alien Registration number for My biographicals,my wife's biographicals.

    Thank you in advance.

Ps. Just to let you know my current visa status us VWP Overstay.

Do you have an alien registration number?

  4. The answer would be Yes because you did file for permanent resident via visa lottery. Just like your ex got a green card you would have if you didn't back out but it is already in the system. The result doesn't matter.

Just be sure you attach a letter of explanation so there's no confusion.

Hi. Is there anyway we can pm each other?

  5. In the US ? In Nigeria I think it is referred to as an invalid marriage.

    Igwe:

No, I got my annulment in Nigeria in 2004. The lady I was married to in 2000 left for the states and has remained there ever since I believe. We lost contact since then and I annulled the marriage in 2004. I am married now and about to file. Is an annulment decree from Lagos high Court Ikeja, sufficient?

@Igwe and Olomi. How can I get in touch with you?

Hello all. I am a new member and I am married and about to file. In the I-485, it asks if I have ever filed for permanent residence in the US? I was married before my current marriage, to a lady who afterwards won the visa lottery. We both sent DS-230 to the NVC as it said to update if there was any change in status of the lottery winner who became my spouse shortly before winning the lottery. We were both sent a letter to go to the consulate. At that point, I decided to opt out. I attended the interview but was not interviewed neither did I pay the visa fees or anything. My passport was not touched or anything. My former spouse went in for the interview alone!!!! This was in 2001. We lost contact after she moved to the states and I had the marriage annulled in 2004. I was granted a B1 visa in 2010 and the interviewing officer indicated that I had attempted to migrate before? I explained to him that my former spouse won the lottery and we sent forms to NVS, but that I chose not to continue with the interview so I wasnt denied or anything like that. Just dropped out. I was given a visa and had travelled here 2ce after that. I met my wife on my last trip in 2011 and we got married in Feb 2012. My question is what do I put as answer to that question? Have i filed for permanent residence before in form I-485.

Thank you all for your help
