Saylin,
I just called NVC, they're sending an email to me today with the info!
-
Sorry, I meant the DS 3032 going to the beneficiary, not petitioner.
-
I just have a quick question...I received my case number from sending an email to NVCinquiry, it was entered into the system on June 3rd, when should I expect official correspondence from NVC? And will I receive (petitioner) it or my husband (beneficiary)? I keep hearing about the DS 3032 and it going to the petitioner to fill out.
-
Is this for all versions of the I-864 (A, EZ, etc..) or just the I-864?
-
Just dropping in to let y'all know that I still have not heard anything. Nothing, nada, zip. Still waiting on NOA2.
is it true that Bismarck and Abezyo were approved? What was the secret password, lol? Seriously, did you do something special to get ATL to pull your petition and process it?
I don't know if you've tried contacting your congressman, but that's how mine was approved once I found out it was in Atlanta. I actually sent a letter to his office and received a reply and the email his office sent to the Atlanta office to review my petition. It was approved within a day of his office sending the email. You've been waiting a very long time..

your i-130 is at Atlanta field office?
Yep. I had no idea it was there until I received a letter from NBC stating it 'was adjudicated at USCIS field office Atlanta'. I made my infopass appt to find out what that meant and he said I was approved that morning.
-
My husband's petition was approved!! I had my infopass appointment today to find out the meaning of the letter that was sent to me by NBC and he was like you were approved this morning! Now I just have to wait for my NOA2! I'm so happy! My husband is in Brasil, I can't get ahold of him right now to tell him! 5 months and 13 days for approval. I hope those who have been waiting longer receive some news soon!

@ imajyn8ion,
please how did you apply for the service request? because i would like to do it
To be honest I'm not sure what worked. I submitted an erequest but was only able to do it once. In the comment area I just wrote what I was requesting. I wrote a letter to NBC, contacted my congressman, and also called the service center several times. And the response I received said that my request was attached but nothing was so I have no idea which method really worked! Now I have to work on getting info from the Atlanta office. But let me know if any of this helps!

I'm confused too. I have an infopass appointment next week because of a service request reply that my petition "was adjudicated" in Atlanta. So reveiwed? A decision made? An RFE? My status still says initial review and I found out it was in Atlanta from this reply I got from NBC a couple weeks ago! So frustrating! Come on Atlanta!
-
This really means nothing, unfortunately, as most files are sent to local field offices and calling NBC can't really give you any update on that.
This is true. I just found out my file was forwarded to my local field office from a response to a service request I had submitted. Have no idea when it was sent because my status has not changed since mid December. But I'm glad I know where it is now!
-
It sounds like youve been reviewed...what does you case status say online? Your best bet is an infopass appointment. They could probably tell you a bit more. But if nothing has changed on your case status online, then most likely your file is sitting in Atlanta. Atlanta was quick to change my approval status once I was approved. Just my 2 cents!
OK, yes, I'm going to make an appointment to see what's going on, just thought it was strange that the response used the past tense! My status still says initial review. Thank you!

So I received a letter in the mail yesterday from NBC respondng to an inquiry I made about where my petition was and the letter stated that "our records indicate that your petition or application has been adjudicated at the local USCIS office Atlanta" and that they would forward my letter to this office. I'm confused because it says "has been adjudicated" yet I didn't even know it had been sent to Atlanta nor how long it has been here, but it uses the past tense so does that mean a decision has been made and I'm just waiting for a response from the Atlanta office? I'm going to make an infopass appointment now that I know for sure, but I was just wondering if anyone else had received something like this in response to any inquiries?

Dosn't have to do with which country you come from not at i130 level. You should let your congressman know that... Such a absurd statement from his office.
they have time for people entering illegally but ignoring people who came here legally and trying to do the right thing legally...
I agree which is why I'm visiting my local office. And which is also why I don't feel any better after contacting his office! He said he would keep checking on the status for me though...

It wouldn't let me quote you!
Yep, that's pretty much what he said. He was explaining the whole process about how countries receive so many visa numbers compared to the number of applicants which is why wait times are different I guess. I was just confused because a lot of the petitions or receipt numbers after mine have already been approved. I was more curious to see if it was actually still at NBC or transferred or lost or stolen or whatever! And yes, my office is Atlanta

I contacted my local Congressman today and was shocked when I received a call from the office a short while later. Didn't really help though because he basically told me that because my husband is Brazilian its going to be a longer wait because a lot of Brazilians are applying for visas. So I yelled at my husband for being Brazilian :-P I was starting to get concerned, though, because it hasn't been touched since it was entered into the system on 12/20/12 so it could be hidden under a desk somewhere and no one would know. The NCSC is really no help which is why I reached out to my Congressman. Should I visit my local office, though, just to see if it was transferred and wasn't updated in the system? Some seem to receive notifications of transfers and some don't. I just want to know where it is! And I really want them to hurry up ;-)

Congrats to all the November filers! Based on my timeline my petition should be approved tomorrow I hope it's coming soon though. This is such a hard process..I'm not known for my patience!

What number are you calling? When I call the customer service number on the USCIS website, I just get an automated response with no option to talk to a person? I'm just curious to see what's going on with my petition! Waiting and not knowing what's going on is the hardest part! Thank you for your help!
