  1. Hi Apalis, I found your review very useful, thanks for posting. I want to know if you also brought a bank statement of joint sponsor to the interview? Because I have a joint sponsor too, but I'm not sure if its ok to ask him for one as bank statement is quite personal.

Yes I did. I think you should but if you don't have when they ask you, make sure that you can explain it. My wife's joint sponsor is my brother so I didn't have any problem asking him to give me at all.

      Hi Apalis,

My joint sponsor is willing to give me his recent bank statement, he is my husband's best friend. But he says it might not show much money on it as he been spending some money lately. His income is more than twice the 125% of HHS Poverty Guidelines for household of 2. Does his bank statement matter (not show much money)?

And has your wife received the passport back yet? Thanks!

I don't think they care about the balance your sponsor or joint sponsor have on the bank, they mainly want to check to see whether your sponsors receive their paycheck at a regular interval or not. So please don't worry, as long as you have those bank statements, you should be ok.

No passport yet :(. We are still waiting. This waiting is killing us :(.
