Following this topic. My mother appt was on June 4th 2021 but got cancel and I been trying to schedule an appt with no luck. Sometime I check the website too much it lock me out and I do it again next day with no luck

Ok here is the kicker. My mom actually bought the ticket for him not from his bank account. Will that be ok?

My brother's wife went to the interview yesterday and they give her a blue slip. On the blue slip why does it ask both petitioner and beneficiary about their ex spouse when this is their first marriage? They also ask for chronology timeline of how they met and also proof of airline tickets purchase by credit card statement. Please help. Also my brother marry my wife's younger sister so I dont know if it causes a red flag.

I once married in vietnam but forget the whole process of paperwork needed in the state, my wife is here now and we have 1 child and another one coming soon. My brother is getting marry in vietnam soon, so my question is what do you need to bring from the state back to vietnam?

Proof of single status? And what else? Please help.

i was a permanet resident and i had my citizenship like last year but my daughter is now 3 years old. does anyone know how to get my little girl citizenship? what form i need and what documents do i need? please help

As other posters mentioned you can use your citizenship to apply for her passport. We just did the same for our son. This is what you will need:

1. Passport application

2. One photo

3. Your daughter's green card

4. Her original birth certificate. If not in English then certified translation with original is must

5. Your original marriage cert. if divorced then those papers

6. Your naturalization cert

We applied at the passport agency so I know exactly what they ask.

can it be certified marriage certificate because US embassy in vietnam never return our orignal docs. we couldnt get a new one becuase we wouldnt have enough time to wait for 2 weeks to get a new one please help

i just got my citizenship about 3 months ago and was wondering what form i need to fill out to let my 3 years old daughter have US citizen under me?

and do both parents need to have citizenship or just one in order for my daughter to have citizenship also?

Mine took about 3 days after ceac website said issued. Maybe cuz i paid for fast delivery.

Yea you can bring wallet inside consulate, heck i even bring a lighter and cigerettes inside.

Had our interview on march 24th 2014 and it was a breeze. Im the petitioner and they let me inside, as a matter of fact they ask me like 5 question and ask my wife only one question. They ask my wife do i shave LOL. But for our experience i see alot of blue slips and only several people pass. They are tougher since the visa scandals in vietnam, but since i petitioner for my wife and 3 years old daughter 3 years ago makes it easier i guess and good luck with your interview. I think is better if you can accompany your husbamd to the interview

You will need to file 2 seperate petition as there are no deravtives for US CITIZEN. Only for permanent residents.

Wife and daughter had interview today and NVC specifically said my wife and daughter original birth certificate, and our marriage license had been forward to the embassy. US consulate in ho chi minh said they dont have it so what do i do now? Im wandering cuz we IR2 so will they send it home with my wife and child visa? They pass the interview by the way. Hey debbie my daughter will have an interview on 29th of april since i requested expedite. Had to delay my flight back to the US. Now im wandering do they need my daughter to do the ds260 again or no. Cuz they got my all my daughter original civil doucments in her mom file.

Wife had an interview on march 24 with our daughter derivative with mom and got a blue slip stating "please come back to the consulate when your daughter's IR2 case is ready to be interview."Originally it was f2a and i filed 2 seperate petition. Had my citizenship about 2 months ago and didnt contact NVC since my wife case was already in vietnam for interview, so i sent an email with my naturalize certificate and request an expedite for my little daughter case and was approved. I also request the consulate to give my daughter case for an early interview and also got approved. Now my daughter got an interview on april 29 super excited!!! Now my question is do they still need my daughter to pay for visa fee and aos fee since i already paid with her mom when it was f2a? And also do they require her to do the DS260 again??? Please help im nervous. Im in vietnam rigjt now and had to delay my flight back to the state and waiting on my daughter interview.

Our case is being transferred to the US Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia (where she lives). Does anyone have any tip for what I should be doing to prepare? I am going to print every single picture we have together and put them into a photo album to bring to the interview. I also plan to bring updated money transfer records, Skype records, and phone records. Is there anything else I should plan on bringing with me to the interview? Any tips/suggestions are appreciated!
