Hi everybody!
I also have a question regarding the address!
My fiancé (USC) will move out of his apartment in March 2013. He's moving to a place where he can stay until July 2013 and then he'll have to move again but he doesn't know where yet.
So my question is: is it tough to inform USCIS about a change of address of the USC after we filed for I-129f?
I was also wondering what he should write in question 14 of the I-129f (address in the US where your fiancée intends to live), since he doesn't know that address yet?
Thanks for your answers!

Thank you!
Here's what I'm wondering: how much influence do my fiancé and I have on how fast the K1 is issued? If I wanted to move to the US with a K1 by March 2014, should we mail the I-129f paperwork now, or should we wait a little bit (in case the K1 was issued fast, let's say within 5 months)?
I want the things to get going and have a deadline to our long distance thing, but on the other hand I would be really mad if I got the K1 and let it expire if I wasn't able to leave Europe within 6 months after getting the K1.
Do you have any advice on that?

Just to be clear: i was referring to an extension of the 6 months to go to the US, not the 90 days to get married.
And I would also like to know if that kind of extension - if it is possible - costs anything ?

Hi everybody!
So my fiancé (USC) and I were about to file for I-129f until last week when I got a call for a great job in Europe. It'd be a 1 year contract from March 2013 until March 2014. I just took the interview so I'm not even sure I'll get the job. But we thought we should wait for the answer of the employer and then, if I get the job, wait to file for I-129f until March or April 2013, to be sure I won't get the K1 too early (I wouldn't want to quit before the end of my contract).
But I just read that sometimes it is possible to get an extension of the validity of the K1 Visa. Is that true? Is it easy to get it and do I need to give some kind of serious reason?
That would actually be great, we could file for I-129f right away and then let the process go on and adapt to USCIS' speed.
Did anybody go through the problem of not being able to move to the US within 6 months after getting their K1?

I'm a January filer, too! Well, I will be: my fiancé and I are gathering all the documents and hopefully he will be able to mail it to Texas by the end of the month. I can't wait for the package to be gone and to start this journey!

Thanks!
So USCIS is not going to think that my name is Jane None Doe??

Hi everybody,
My fiancé and I are filing the I-129f petition right now and I mailed him my part of the job last Friday so he can put the package together asap. But I just read that it's better to put "---" or "N/A" on the middle name question for people who don't have a middle name. I wrote "None" in my G-325a.
Do you think that could lead us to any kind of trouble? Should I just mail my fiancé a new G-324a form with "---" in the middle name blank?
Also I left the question "if your native alphabet is in other than Roman letters etc." blank but maybe I should have written N/A, too? (but my fiancé could write that with ink when he gets my form, right?)
What do you think?

Yes, he could use his mum's address. Should he just write this address as his present address in the G-325a form then? And should he also use this address in the I-129f form as the address where I'll be living in the US, even though we already know we're not going to live there?
