  1. PA2013 your choice of word was very poor to describe ABUSE! She said he beat her up,and you called this "difficulties"? are you serious? Please let's get a bit more educated about domestic violence, and not to call abuse "difficulties".

if its indeed abuse, she's been beaten etc. u've made an indisputable point.

but what i ask myself is, this didn't happen till green card was received?

  2. your question has been answered, what i will add is that, in general, adjusting to the system in the usa from another country is difficult, things work differently and its stressful. i would say u can try to work it out when u return, that's if u want to, if it doesn't work out, that's ok. but i think divorce shouldnt be the first option when difficulties arise. if he doesn't want u and it wont work out, then it's better to be safe.

  3. u can try to call the embassy and see if u could get a third interview and explain your situation, they may do so, they may not, but u can try. or send a mail. if the one responding to you is nice enough, he/she would do something for u. some have gotten third interviews in the past, some did not.

  4. sorry about your experience.

i am thinking your fiance didn't give his evidence when asked to submit his documents.

the co doesn't ask for evidence. some people hold on to the evidence for the interview. i am thinking he did this. for accra embassy, when asked for your documents, u give everything including your evidence. the co checks your evidence before calling u for the interview.

i notice in other embassies they may ask for evidence during the interview, but in accra, ghana, no they wont, the co assumes u have given all your evidence in advance. for my interview, i noticed, the co had gone through all my evidence before calling me, same as my friends who got approved.

did u post here after the first interview? because someone would have informed u.

this point has also been mentioned by users on the accra embassy reviews section.

  5. I was at holy trinity, takes 2 weeks, but she can talk to the guy who collects the money and arranges the doctor's meet, so that he accelerates the process, a few extra cedis for him.

police report also 2 weeks, but can be accelerated, also a few extra cedis.

great she didn't allow them to 'edit' the photo, could be tampering in eyes of emb.

for me, I wrote the location, persons in photo and date(month and year), behind photo, and it went great.

  6. Just print the whole chat that they requested. I went through the same situation earlier in January after they requested our chat from 2011 to date so we provided it and then got approved afterwards. My fiancé now my wife didn't even have to show up. U can show up and still get denied if u don't have what they want so I would advice u just get ur chats together and u will be fine. Just make sure they are up to date, its important! Gud luck!

i agree, get what was requested, its very likely u will get the same CO, so he/she will check what was requested. its more important than u going in person.

  7. yes we have this is our 3rd time getting together and we been together for two years.

i think u should file for K1 now, if u are able to prepare and file within a month from now, so say february, u could be having the interview in the summer time which u can go to. if the interview doesn't come by then, it would prolly be about 2 or 3 months more.

  8. So We Called The Akia hospital on 3 way and they are still saying 800 cedis. I don't want him not to bring enough and have to reschedule. I don't want someone just using us cause they know we need the test. I don't know what to do now. We will call again on Monday and see what the price is they say again. The police report we got under control. Just this medical I'm worried about now.

ok, i had my medical at holy trinity.

medicals from one of these two hospitals is accepted by the us emb.

when i called both, holy trinity costed less, i checked them up and they had won dozens of prestigiuos awards so to me that meant they were good. me and some other vj friends used this clinic and would highly recommend it. akai house may be taking advantage of the fact that they are closer to the embassy to charge more, but in my view that doesn't make them better. u go to the embassy interview on an entirely different day so distance doesn't play a role.

    but its still your call
