If I'm helping my spouse fill out the N-400 application, should I put myself as the interpreter? We're filing under the 3 year rule.

Another question. I'm reading the instructions and it says to only submit a copy of the green card and marriage certificate with the application. All other information, such as joint bank accounts, vehicle registrations, wills, etc. it says to bring to the interview. Did everyone do just this or did you send all evidence with the application.

Hi All - When applying for citizenship with the 3 year rule, do you assume that all questions stating past 5 years (previous address past 5 years) is read as 3 years? I'm asking because it asks for past residences for the last 5 years, but my wife has only been in the US for 3 years and has only lived at one address.

If sending in joint checking accounts, mortgage statements etc., how many of those should in? every 3 months? every month?

We're filing through the 3 year rule and I'm a bit confused on Part 9. It's asking for the time spent outside of the United States in the past 5 years. My wife hasn't taken any trips outside of the United States since she moved here in September 2014, but technically, she hasn't resided in the US for the past 5 years. How should we answer this question?

I will be filing for my wife's citizenship through the 3 year rule. For those who have gone through this, what kind of evidence should we provide? When we filed the I-751 for removal of conditions, we sent everything but the kitchen sink. Any insight would be helpful.

We signed up for the usps informed delivery. Turns out we got the approval. Noa1date 6/25 vsc. How long until card in hand usually?

Looks like we're getting a letter from uscis today. Not sure if its an approval or rfe. Can't tell from the scan image.

Do we get the passport stamp prior to the 1 year mark of the NOA letter or prior to expiration of the GC?

Hello VJ friends - My green card expires 9/13, but mine NOA for I-751 is June 22. Should we schedule to get a stamp in my passport before June, or Sept?

We filed for my wife's I-751 last June with VSC, but from the looks of things, we aren't expecting to hear anything back until the one year mark. At which time, she would qualify to file for citizenship. Would filing for citizenship negatively affect her Removal of Conditions? Would we have to supply evidence of a faithful marriage as we did with the other past petitions?

Looks like VSC is taking about a year to get approved. Although, USCIS site still says data based on 11/30/2016.

Petitioning for sibling and her family
in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America

I'm a US citizen and am petitioning for my sister, her husband and two kids. From reading the guides, I only need to submit one I-130, but what additional evidence should I submit?
1. Copy of my US Passport
2. Mine and her birth certificate
3. Her marriage certificate to her husband
4. Her kid's birth certificates
5. Photocopy of each passports
