I did it too! I've filled both docs. I have a copy of the two forms sent and there are the correct data right there! My husband just called NVC and they told him we have to fix the information anyway.

Hey guys, I just got another checklist. Now they are saying that there's a gap in my residence history of more than six months since I was 16, what's not true! I checked both forms that I've filled (DS-230/DS-260) I there is correct. My husband is also saying that the checklist for his AOS must be also wrong, because all data on the form match with the documents sent. What should we do?? Is anybody passing through the same situation?? * FRUSTRATED *
-
Thank you, guys! We are running to meet the new requirements requested on the checklist.
-
Thanks Kai26! That's what I was expecting! Now is time to correct the AOS and get back to the infinite 20 business days counting down... again.
-
I guess for both. It says that I need to fill that DS-260 form which they probably didn't notice I've already done. And for the AOS, they have it reviewed and they are asking to fix some information, this I know my husband has to resend all that papers again.

HI everyone!
I just got a checklist by e-mail.
First they were asking me to fill up the DS-260 form - what I've already done, even before they ask - and to submit the documents and also to fix some information of the AOS.
One question: Do I need to resend the docs of the IV package (they received it on Aug 22)?? Anyone who is on the same shoes can please give me some good news??
This waiting seems endless...

Me too. I just called NVC and they also told me I need to fill up the DS-260 form and to wait 30 business days...
-
anyone here waiting for the case complete?
thank
I am! They received the AoS on Aug 12 and the IV package on Aug 22. I'm counting down the 20 business days... Infinite wait!!!

Hi everyone!
I just got the same information, Mourad 81! However as I read in multiple topic of this forum, I already sent the Choice of Agent's e-mail (DS3032). Now I'm waiting for their instructions.
-
What time did you call them?
It was about 11:30 pm. It took around 10 min to get my call and the representative was very nice.
-
I called NVC yesterday and they told me they had just received my docs from USCIS (I got my approval on May 23rd 2013) and that I should wait about 10-12 days to receive the next steps.
-
Thank you everyone!!! And congrats to all who got approved too!!!
We know we still have some steps ahead but just receiving any update - specially this one - makes us sooo happy and it renews our expectatives!!
I hope everybody who is still waiting can get their approval very soon too! It's such a good feeling!

This is the second checklist I receive. The first one was related to the AOS. This one is for the IV. I've sent both DS-230 and DS-260.
Below you can find the text of the checklist:
______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________
Please submit a completed copy of form Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration -Biographic Data (DS-230/DS-260) for this applicant. In reviewing the form that you submitted, we note that the section pertaining to applicant residences from the age of 16 is either blank or incomplete. The applicant must list all places lived for at least six months since reaching the age of 16. There must not be any gaps greater than six months. You will need to complete and submit a new form with the changes. Your visa application cannot be processed until this form is complete.
A gap exists in your residence history of more than six months. When completing the information in this section, please refer to the following instructions below on Police Certificate(s):
· Police certificates are required for each visa applicant aged 16 years or older, based on where each applicant lives or has lived previously.
· Police certificates are also required from all other countries where the applicant has resided more than 12 months. Present and former residents of the United States should NOT obtain any police certificates covering their residence in the U.S.
· Generally, applications for police certificates should be made directly to the police authorities in the district in which you resided. The police certificate must:
1. Cover the entire period of the applicant's residence in that area, and
2. State what the appropriate police authorities records show concerning each applicant, including all arrests, the reason for the arrest(s), and the disposition of each case of which there is a record.
· If you have any questions about where or how to apply for police certificates in other countries, you may communicate directly with the U.S. consular office processing your visa applications.
· NOTE: Police certificates from certain countries are unavailable. Detailed information is available from the NVC or the nearest United States immigrant visa processing post.
