Hello everyone! My family went for interview today thank God everything went well because the consular officer didnt ask for DNA. But what appeared strange to me was all our documents were returned to my wife excluding their passports. She was given a form which contains an address to a DHL office and and link to check the status of the visa. She was told they will contact her to go the DHL office to pick up their visa when it is ready in two weeks time.. I dont know if anyone has gone through this process or is normal. I always thought visas are picked up at the embassy and no where else. Your inputs would be appreciated, thanks.

The last time i saw my wife was during our marriage in 2013 and she gave birth in 2014. So for my child I have not been home to meet her physically but we do video chat alot.

Hello Everyone. My family(wife and daughter) will going for Interview by the end of this month at the Accra Consulate. We have all our documents ready and well organised. What are the likely questions that they may ask my wife.? And will the consular officer ask us for DNA because NVC never requested for it. I also did not include a brief explanation of how my wife and I met. I hope that wont be a problem. Your views will be appreciated. thanks

So I filed I-130 for my wife when I was a green card holder and now I am a citizen and has a baby now. I want to upgrade my wife's case and filed I-130 for my baby. How do I reconcile these two cases so that my wife's case and my baby's case can be approved at the same time so that they can both come together?. Also where do I send the cases to? Any body who has ideas or has ever being in this situation should help me out please. Thank you.

I filed my I 130 for my wife when I was a permanent resident and my case is still pending. I just got a notice on 03/24/15 that my case has been transferred to another office for processing. I had a child before becoming a citizen and I want to file I 130 for my child again. What is confusing me now is; do I have to add form FS 240(Consular Report of Birth Abroad) to my child's petition since I wasn't a citizen yet when I had the child? I really need a clarification on this. Thanks

I am currently a green card holder and I filed for my wife last year. We had a baby last year too and she is six months old now. I will be taking my citizenship oath sometime by the end of the month or February. My question now is can I add my daughter to my wife's petition before I get my citizenship certificate and upgrade the whole petition or I should wait when I get my citizenship certificate this month or next month then I can file another I -130 and add my daughter to the petition and upgrade both petitions(wife and daughter). What is best option that can fast track my case.Thanks

I am a green card holder and my wife is pregnant and still stays at my country, I am about to submit our case to the Immigration center. If my case is approved before or after she gives birth, how do I file for the baby so that the baby and my wife can come together?
