  1. hello VJ

Anyone with a recent experience on how long it takes for the embassy/ DHL to handle the Bogota passport for delivery? My interview was approved on March 18, and i don't even have a waybill # . I was scheduled to return back to the states today, and i wanted to take my fiancee with me. I cancelled the fight, and i'm going to stay another 5 days. But with the Holy week down here i'm sure things are not going to get any faster. Anyone else in the similar situation ?

  4. VJ.

I'm waiting to receive the interview date for my wife in Colombia. Do they always e-mail you or do you have to call them for the information?

    Thanks

    Carlos

Once your wife has received the email from NVC you can schedule the date for the interview yourself.

  5. Not sure if this is the right forum to discuss with but already saw same topic only that the OP was asking about PH and Indonesia.

How about Japan? I'm always subscribed to Skype's Japan 120 Minute call which $15.99 a month. But I always run out of minutes (120 min of course isn't enough in a month), For some reason, you cannot subscribe again with another 120 min within the month that it was consumed, I can avail 60 min though, but still it isn't enough (Skype is weird). With that, I needed to call my fiance (USC based in Japan) directly from my phone using IDD which very expensive!

If you have anything more in mind, please share.

Magic Jack , if you both have access to internet , Also you can use a google voice number and buy an OBI-100 router/modem for free long distance ( i'm not sure about Japan).

  7. Hello Everyone,

pick from a calendar for the interview date ? how we know date and times etc. This is the only information i can see at this point

    Applicant and Family Summary

    Appointment Information

Trip Purpose: Immigrant Consulate Has Asked You to Schedule - Fiance of US Citizen [Edit]

    Consulate: Bogota

Next Available Appointment is in 21 day(s)

no choice of dates to pick from, specific days or times etc.

  8. I am scheduling my fiancee's interview on line. There is a screen that ask to add a family member and I don't know if I should go ahead and do it.

My fiancee is traveling to the us with her 5 year old son. Can someone tell me if I have to add him on the interview? Do we have to pay for him also?

I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing...

    Thank you all.

did you received an email from the embassy as to when to schedule the interview and pay online ? My case arrived at the Bogota embassy last week, i'm waiting on the next step.

    Thanks

  9. Hello everyone,

My case was sent to the U.S embassy of Bogota on Jan 14, 2013. I already have the BGT # , when should i call the embassy in regards to the MNL # ( case number ) ? Also

I was trying to navigate the embassy website for the online payment and interview schedule, i did registered just to become familiar with the process. I couldn't find the url, link, sub-link or sections where to make the payment within the website. At the time of the payment is when you can pick the interview date from the interview calendar ?

    thank you in advance

For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations. THANK YOU LORD.... IM A JUNE 21 FILERS...

congrats. good luck with the rest of the process. :)

  11. I have an NOA1 date of July-5th, 2012.

Now it has been 6 months and still nothing. I have tried calling tier-2 officers and all they say is there is a backlog.

Prior to today, Vermont center was processing applications dated May-28th as of Oct-30th.

Today there has been another update as of Nov-30th, but the dates are for June-4th. So even with a 1 month progress, has the center only processed a week's worth of applications?

At this rate, I wonder when our papers will come through. Very frustrating!

    AMT

I waited exactly 7 months in couple days. I filed on June 1, received NOA2 on Jan4 2013. Your NOA2 is around the corner.

    :)
