We have been friends for at least 7 years and met through a forum where we create original characters and write stories about them. We got to talk a lot more early in 2011 as he tries to survive college and I was trying to survive my first job out of college. 2011 meant a lot to me for our relationship. After he confessed that he liked me a lot, I was telling him that an LDR is just impossible and that we'll end up not working out. And he persisted, asked my mom if he could court me. We have been together as a couple for more than a year now and last December 2011, he popped the question during his visit and I know in my heart he was that person I want to spend my life with; my friend, best guy friend, my love, my boyfriend, my fiance, my soon-to-be-husband. I never knew that even after a year, we would still be together and stronger than ever. It's very depressing to not be with him physically but I do know now that if you love someone dearly, you'll do everything to keep each other. And always communicating with each other really helped us out.
