  1. I'm petitioning for a k1 fiancée visa and my fiancée got her record check #2 from the doj in bien hoa. After she got it translated into English, I saw the original and translated copy and my fiancee listed me as her spouse on line 9 of the record check. Well this pose a problem for her interview? We are waiting for her interview to be scheduled. Is there a way that she can get it fixed or will she have to make a new one?

  2. Long time reader, first time posting in this topic! I wanted to let you guys know that you gave me hope since I read that January was being processed several weeks ago. I wanted to inform anybody who was interested, I am an early January filer, noa on 1/10/2013 and I got approved tonight (5/28/2013)! I'm very excited because the wait has been extremely stressful hahaha.

I also want to add that I did not receive any RFE's! Thank you visajourney for making my journey possible :)

  3. I filed my i-129f in January and I'm hoping that it will be processed sometime in July/August. I have been working for my employer since June 2012, and my income on my w2 from last year reads ~$9,300. I'm working about 30 hours per week, but I estimated my annual income this year will be close to $16,500. I read the topics in this forum about co-sponsoring and from what I've read is that the HCMC consulate used to allow co-sponsors but not anymore. Does anybody know if the consulate uses the 100% of poverty income or 125% of poverty income on the i-134? My uncle, who makes over $50,000/year, said that he would co-sponsor her because I don't make enough for the 125% poverty and that is why I am asking. Any help regarding this would be appreciated :)
