  1. I received this e-mail today.

    The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: ____________ filed by _________ on behalf of ____________.

    The NVC completed its processing of ______________ visa petition.

    The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.

    Now, let´s wait for Rio de Janeiro Consulate to schedule..... I hope is in february...

    They sent me this e-mail after I call them, i mean, today.

    Dear Sir or Madam:

    The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing

    of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner

    and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

    It means that the Consulate wiil schedule the interview ?

  3. hi, happy new year for everyone.

    I called NVC yesterday ( yes, they were working), and an operator said the case was completed at december, 20th. and they are waiting for the Brazilian Consulate in Rio to schedule an interview.

    I saw at dhl.com that they deliveried a package on december 28th.

    Do you think is possible that my case is there or they´re going to wait for the interview to send them ?

  4. dO YOU PEOPLE KNOW HOW LONG TIME FOR BRAZILIAN RIO CONSULATE SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW AFTER CASE COMPLETED?

    I JUST RECEIVE THIS E-MAIL TODAY JANUARY, 1ST (DO THEY WORK TODAY ?)

    of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner

    and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

    The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment

    until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

    The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of

    the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at

    the following URL....
