Arrived in the US yesterday, adjusting to my new home very quickly and having a great time His family helping plan for the wedding which is on January 18th, after which we will be doing our AOS.

I love my fiance so much, and I can't wait to get through the rest of this process so I can marry him.

Eagerly anticipating our NVC number now. Very excited as my fiance is coming to stay with me on July 23rd.

I'm probably gonna wait till I know London have recieved my case and get my case number then book it in. I want to shave as much time off as possible because I don't want to be stuck here waiting for things to happen. I need to do a little more research myself. Just fed up of waiting now.

I work for British Gas managing a load of engineers, have to give a month's notice. Yes definitely as soon as I have been told I'm approved I'll give my notice in. Are you going to do the medical as soon as you get the case number from the NVC or are you going to wait till you get the packet 3 letter and know they have your case? x

Do you work at the minute and do you have to give any notice in? I'm hoping to have the visa by October but I have to work a month's notice, and I don't want to give up my job till I have the visa just to be safe. I just want it to be asap. x

I really hope it isn't August. It makes it difficult, because we're meant to be planning for my fiance to visit after NOA2 and to go back together, but we have no idea when we'll get NOA2 or how long the embassy will take! When are you looking to be in the US by? x

I was thinking July, but the way VSC are going I'm getting worried it'll be more like August and we'll be like the CSC 7-9 monthers.. Really annoys me that they advertise 5 months and then do a minimum of 6! My fiance tries to remind me that not all VSC filers are on VJ though so I can't rely on it so much.. x

It is dragging so badly!!! I don't know when to expect our NOA2 now as VSC has slowed down and become the rubbish one again! xx

I need to have a GP note because I've had depression/self harmed in the past (about 6/7 years ago), and a mild bout last year but I didn't do anything and got treatment. GP is gonna write me a note saying I'm not a threat etc, but if I get it done too early it won't be up to date by my medical. And might as well get vaccinations done nearer then. Had most anyway! x

Yep his mum's sponsoring me. She gets social security and earns enough anyway on that but has a lot in savings too that is more than enough. I'm just like that, if I know something needs to be done, I can't relax till it is. It can be a hassle too so I wanted it done earlier. I'd get my GP note now if I could, but I can't physically do anything but wait at the mo. x

Very lucky you get free flights! Costs us a fortune. I have no hol left at all other than the days I need for interview/medical, but my man is unemployed so he just comes up to stay with me for months at a time. Really hope I get the NOA2 in June. Yep I did my police certificate in Jan after I sent my I-129F, no trace!

Bless How come only for 4 days? Me and Chris only see eachother when it's going to be for a long period of time so we don't waste flight tickets cos they're so expensive. He's coming up as soon as we have NOA2 and all the stuff we need, staying with me and we'll go back together. So I'm desperate for NOA2 so I can see him again. Very tough . Wish VSC would pump them...

Aww sweet . Had a bit of a down moment last night, crying to my fiance on Skype saying how much I miss him and it's upsetting not knowing when I'll see him. Best case scenario is NOA2 is June but just don't know. How have you been holding up? x

Thanks and yeah true. Pretty much every review says the London embassy is quite painless and I actually googled K1 denials London and couldn't find any. All Mumbai and other places. London's by far the easiest, the only one that allows self sponsoring too I think. They like the English! lol

I'm a bit worried about the medical as I've got a bit of a history with depression but my GP said he'd write me a note saying I'm not a threat etc so I should be fine. I'll find my way about with my iPhone XD I'm just going to be nervous knowing it'll all hang on the interview but there again I hate interviews anyway!

I'm sure she is yeah I'm in the Jan filer thread. We don't want to get him here earlier incase we get an RFE, but I want him here so I can see him sooner and he can be with me at the interview so I don't ####### myself XD

Bloody hell. I don't really feel nervous yet, but when I think about the interview I feel all panicky lol. I've not actually packed much up yet. My man is coming over after our NOA2 for a few months so he's going to help me with all that very expensive to ship a cat over, wow!
