Ahmadjutt did amex call you to pick up your passport or you called them. How many days later you get your passport after status changed to issued.

it was issued on 6 January and today received,

friends today visa is in hand, there is one mistake on visa, my name date of birth pp number is ok, but on my fiancee addres they have to write (NEWARK) but they write bewark, so what u should is it ok ,coz one my frend in amx told me that ur detail is ok then no prob, what u suggest plz

status showing issued but down is showing it is in final processing ,any one have idea plz how many days they will take, from monday is showing issued

thanks a lot friends, i have to come to know through my friends who are solicitors in USA that new law are coming in feb 2014 that are very flexible ,they will issued visas in very short time ,family visa time from 10-12 year is coming in 2 year time ,like that other visa time also will b very short ,and u people can see that they are issuing alot visa now a days and also giving attention to old cases, i know 4 person who are not at VJ their cases were like 4year, 5 and half year, 2 year and 1 and half year old they all got visa at the last week of december 2013,even in 1st week of january u can see visa are coming

finally after 13th month my status also changed to ISSUED

we called to DOS and got reply that embassy is reviewing our case, 35 days passed after submitting fresh doc

but bro i did'nt signature it and it's says congratulation your application has been submit. what i do now ? is there will be a issue?

nothing wrong there bro just take the receipt print that is automatically send to ur email id, just send that to embassy, there is no need of sign DS 260 when u fill up its at the end automatically submitted to embassy

If the status goes back from ready to AP, what does it mean?

we call dos they told us last day embassy will work even last day of this year they wana give max visaes.

is DOS told u that they are going to issue max visa till end of this year

I have heard of people being put back into AP right before the visa is issued. The embassy may have found something in their final background check that is causing you this delay.

All you can do is continue to wait.

ahmadhutt the embassy did the same thing to us. They asked for new documents and passport in March then months went by before they worked on our case again.

but then why 2 and half moth before my case was showing READY still after that is showing AP again, but one thing my fiancee call to DOS its first time in the last whole year this operator just told soon will get, but now monday we call again and operator just told its in AP i cant tell u anything what u think which operator told us soon will that mean it

78 days passed when passport submitted and 23 days passed when fresh documents submitted .but still no reply from embassy

plz can someone told me that at ceac site when they replying now y my update is not changing before it its change all d the timw when they reply me but still from the last 2 month its stuck

16 days passed after documents submitting but still no reply ,problem is that at CEAC site my update not changing they did 5 time email during last 2month but date didit change, thats y confused that when doc will b reviewed will the date change or not, and what will they do

My husband's interview was in october 2012. Our case did not update at all until November 2013 unless I emailed them. Upon emailing, they told me to resubmit medical etc. at the end of September. Our case updated on 5th November (that's when they received our documents), then on 20th, 21st, 28th, 29th november, 2nd december and 5th december and finally on 6th it showed ISSUED alhamdolillah!!!!!

I had totally lost hope since our case was not being updated at all but thanks Allah Almighty, it says issued now. We will pick up my husband's passport as soon as we get the call from AMEX!!

My husband case is in administrative process and it's more than 6 month now .now I m gng Pakistan .does any one know if I go to the Islamabad embassy and talk to the consular does it help or not ? Any more had that situation before?help pls

no they will not allow u to come inside, coz this walk in service closed, there is no way to go inside

Our case has been updating for past few days and finally today received a call at home to submit new medical, passport pictures and fill out DS260 form.

Question is how do we mail them medical and pictures?

send them through American express or speed ex office i did same way ,also send them the receipt of ds260 with pic and medical

Guys I am happy to report that today on the CEAC site my wife's case shows ISSUED!

her interview was in Oct 2012 and I applied September 2011. So glad this is ove, still in shock not sure if this is real.

My prayers are with everyone else who is still waiting. It took us 14 months in AP for a standard case so don't lose hope. Your time will come!

congratulation brother thats good news in december someone was saying they stopped visa but ur visa shows they are working
