      Thanks Punit. Hope your wife made it back without issues. Today our AP case status on the website changed to Post Decision Activity(Approved). Hopefully all goes well and we receive the doc/card soon.

      Hi Punit, today my husband's EAD case status changed to Card Production and his AP case status has not changed.I looked at your timeline. You mentioned that you received a combo card for EAD as well as AP and your AP case status did not change. Have you received any updates on your AP case status on the USCIS website thereafter?

      Thanks Punit. Is your AP still under process? Your timeline doesn't show an AP approval date.

      My husband needs AP so that he can return to India to quit his job. We would be worried if the AP approval is taking a lot of time.

      Oh no. Hope you find answers soon. When you said "you will still have to overcome whatever reason they sent back the fiance petition" what do you mean? My petition is being sent back because they were not convinced of the credibility of our relationship. This we found out through congressional inquiry. My fiance was carrying all sorts of evidence and when I filed the petition I submitted so much evidence. But at the interview CO didn't ask for any evidence. So if USCIS closes our...

      One of the requirements in http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivinterview_preparation.html is below.

      Beginning September 26, 2012, ALL applicants must create their profile by logging on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in to arrange for the delivery of their passport and visa BEFORE the interview. Applicants are required to carry a print out of registration confirmation to present to the consulate.

      Okay, I am sorry but one more question popped to my mind. I was planning to pay the K-1 visa fee by going to Citibank branch in advance. Is that required or I can take money-order/demand-draft with me on the day of the interview?

    I got this notification few hours ago. "On May 28, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed." DId you get this notification anytime when USCIS found out that your case was sent to NRC instead of NVC?

      I didn't find any concrete information to why my status is showing address has been changed. I have another concern now. My approval notice is valid until Aug 22, 2013. I am afraid that by the time CSC rectifies their mistake and by the time my fiance gets an interview date, the approval notice might expire. I am just being proactive here. Did you do anything to change the validity date on approval notice?

      No, I didn't change my address. Actually USCIS didn't tell me about NRC. It was my senator's office who told me about that. But this morning I called USCIS to check on a service request which was opened last week. During the call this morning they told me that my petition was never sent to NVC. They will resend it and it can take up to 60 days. So basically I got 2 different answers today. :-(

      This is frustrating. It's been over a month for me! Did you get to the point where they created a service request for you? I opened one today and they told me to wait for 2 weeks. Every time I call them, they tell me to wait.
