If the officer told you that you were approved then you must be approved. Send an email or inquiry to the embassy. Ask them what is going on. Pray pray and pray! that everything is alright. I'm sure they just put AP so that they can finish processing your information in the system. Hopefully it will only be a few days. Every one that I have read, if the CO says approved then you should be fine. Don't sweat it, maybe they are just verifying some documents or certificates and list AP until they can print the visa. it's only been a few days, My fiance and I were put on AP and luckily it only lasted i believe a month. I cried my eyes out. Don't stress it, just pray and I'm sure you'll be fine. It's probably just saying that until the CO submits everything and sends it all off to be printed.

Can anyone tell me of a reasonable Civil Surgeon that is approved on the list

who can administer the vaccinations required for AOS. My now husband didnt need anything ever before and only had his TB vaccine 2 years ago when he had to go to the UK.

I need some helping finding a reasonable priced one in chicago. Could you all refer me to a civil surgeon you have visited for vaccines and to complete the paperwork.

Ameen! I really think that AP for husband visas is longer than fiance visas :-\ i could be wrong though. May Allah make your journey easier and shorter. Ameen SUmaAmeen same for all legit cases in AP right now. Just pray pray pray and In sha Allah soon you will be together!

First of all...I don't believe I racism so im not going to respond to such attempts to upset me. God is Allah for me it is just the way we say it in our religion. I believe in respecting all religions and that is what my faith tells me to do. I know that Allah has helped me through this and I also know that not even. Leaf or pebble can move without the will of Allah. Kindly refrain from religious conflicts. My religion is Islam and it recognizes that at a point the bible was valid but because it has been changed and misinterpreted while being passed on it has changed. Don't be sad, atleast there is something changing. I understand it is an error but you know what good for you! because now you have something to hold against them. make your point that they are creating errors. Be more involved in your case. I'm sure inshAllah soon you will recieve good news. Continue to pray and keep your faith and imaan in Allah strong. Allah knows best and is merciful and kind. I will pray for you! don't worry just keep contacting them and stay on top of the case, follow their directions, see where you might have even slight weakness in your case and fix it. When in doubt have a professional take a look at it.

I just wanted to put this out there keep the fire of faith burning. Allah will surely help all of us out. I just checked the website and it says Issued. I understand it has been inaccurate for some, i pray that it is accurate for me. I really need to be out of this AP. in sha Allah I know this is hard but I want you all to know I pray for you all when I pray for myself as well. I KNOW this will end soon. In all honesty I believe that you really do need to have a current job to be able to sponsor your fiance. I have read that they accept co-sponsors for husband visa's but not K-1s. I have maybe read 1 or 2. The majority i read was rejection. Assets is a part of it, but they might ask how have you been surviving without a job for so long. Assets might eventually run out. I believe that it would make your case stronger to have a job that is above fed poverty level to be able to support both you and your hubby. Maybe invest in a small business where you can have someone else run it...maybe sell things from pakistan..some sort of current income? then possibly you could stay with him in Pak and move back and forth. My only concern is them saying you all will stay together before marriage? i know pakistan is conservative but..i dont know cant speak for what will be in the officer's brain.

oh...well my lawyer said that they can object that he needs to be in his home country before you apply. So i had to make him go back to Pak. Luckily he was finished with his studies. The officer might say why dont you wait till your done with you studies etc...i'm not sure that's just my opinion.

I personally think hiring an attorney might help. i say contact one for a consultation. ask them if they can help. if so then hire them. there might be something that they can do or look into. I also think it makes your case a bit more stronger/legit.

anyways pics and cover to cover copies of your passports are what is sufficient. Marriage certificate, proof of you all spending time together so gather all pics of time spent together and pics before and after marriage...and casual pics after marriage as well.

You will need police certificates i think from all countries he has lived in after age 16...I think. well for the k-1 we needed it.

You should also gather affidavit of support info like immigration letters from your bank and ensure you have sufficent income to support him.

The only way to contact the embassy is through their IV Inquiry form online on the embassy's website. You also should contact D.O.S thats the only people you can call. Islamabad embassy is usually good about replying to the online inquiries sent in. Make sure you are checking your spam folder, also make sure you are putting all relevant info in there. If still you recieve no response contact your state senator's office and give them the times and dates also try to screen shot the inquiry you send via the electronic form and give it to the senator's office to make your case. in sha Allah you will hear back. double check spam and trash to ensure you didnt delete it by mistake or maybe their response went into your spam folder.

Also try checking your fiance's email...maybe they are sending the response directly to him. They did that with my fiance and I. Any responses were sent to him, even thought i was the one initiating the inquiry.

You should include the entire statement, not cut and paste. If you are cuting an pasting they may think you have something to hide. Plus...why would you cut and paste it? Why would you want to hide your bank statement from them? They do not know who you are so who cares what is on your statement. A lot of people are too secretive about their bank statements.

Also if you do not want to send that then all you need to do is get an immigration letter from your bank stating the date it was opened, the balance or average balance from the entire year and that is has your name and address on it.

As for the monetary transactions to your fiance you can show them email receipts printed out that show the company's logo and that you have been sending it.

Salaam, have you tried to contact the DOS and see what they said? I'm surprised that it's been in AP for so long and you just checked the website? even if you didnt have it...you should have inquired with the embassy's online inquiry form. Have you done this already? if not you should do that and ask them what is going on. I die each day that we are in AP. it bothers me to be apart from my fiance right now. I pray to Allah that all of our legitimate cases are approved and out of AP soon. Allah knows best and in sha Allah will help us all.

You should # 1 pray to Allah and then secondly contact the embassy visa the online inquiry form. Then also call DOS and inform them you havent recieved it.

I pray that your daughter's health improves soon. in sha Allah she will be okay. Allah will help you. I also pray that you and all of us get out of Admin Processing soon.

Just a quick update since I've been so busy I haven't had much time to stop by... we have yet to have anything from USCIS but we have over 7 lbs of printed proof already to go and each day I update and get more. My daughter is officially home bound from school and can't return this year due to her medical issues and in April we go see the neurosurgeon to see exactly what he has to do whether he wants to wait a few more months or do brain surgery sooner.

I continue to work and do my best to keep my emotions in tact but its very hard with the stress of immigration as well as my daughters dangerous health issue. Because they can't remove the tumor it's considered intracranial pressure which can lead to death if we can't get it stabilized.

In the meantime even tho I don't have the time off I am planning a trip to see my husband in July (LOL yes, one of the hottest months there) but even a week with him right now would be a wonderful experience and time we need desperately. All considering my daughter doesnt have any issues at that time.

We have already made our mind up that if for some reason this process fails us completely we will move some place else to live together in the future for now, we will continue on this path until there are no other options

HANG ON! the validity does matter, on my fiance's police certificate it said valid for 3 months. We had to get another one made before the interview. if your next step is waiting for packet3.5 then what you can do is collect/gather the necessary documents and ensure that NVC has sent your case to the embassy. I never recieved packet 3.5 no email no mail nothing. I had to inquire. Upon inquiry they replied that we never had to wait we needed to send in the required docs and they would review and schedule the interview from there i was PISSED.

So i would recommend that you gather everything you need go to amex bank/ speedex once you have your ISL case number and send it in. That way they'll schedule a interview date.

First of all. AP is NOT mandatory in Islamabad. I have read about it often but it is not mandatory. I just think Pakistan is a tough country. Pray to Allah that you don't go into AP. I am doing to same. I know you've been in AP for a long time. Just pray that it is over soon. I have been keeping you in my prayers and will continue to do so. I know how tough it is. If your relationship is legit you don't have anything to worry about. In sha Allah your AP will be over soon. Allah has reasons for everything. I know it seems difficult right now, trust me I am going through the same situation, but there's always a reason for it that Allah knows what's best. Allah would never put you through something that you couldn't handle. You two and your relationship will come out stronger from this. Just stick together and pray.

I know that American Express is a credit card, but in Islamabad the courier that handles sending stuff to and from the US Counsulate is also called American Express.

I also thought that American Express wouldnt take his passport, but they did. I'm worried now. He said the people at Amex told him he needed to send it. This is a normal K-1 visa, I didnt read in anyone else's experience that their passport was taken at Amex. If anyone else has experienced this.
