  1. I guess I'm the one of the Dec filer with NOA2.

Here is the breakdown of updates:

    I129 F sent on Dec 14

    NOA1 received on Dec 17

Alien # changed update on Dec 21

Alien # changed update AGAIN on April 11(in the Morning)

NOA2 (Approved) on April 11 (Night)

    My case was not expedited.

I did not contact my congressman or senator.

I did called USCIS 3 times total, never got tier 2.

Last time I called them I was told that many of K-1 from CSC has been tranfer to TSC and NVC. I didnt believe them. Now I think about it, maybe they really did transfer them. Perhaps that's why approvals are not coming in order? I dont know.

  2. Wow, a less than four-month wait. Congrats!

I was planning on going for a visit next month, but might need to reconsider if NOA2s keep coming this fast...

    Keep your hopes up!

With current delay at CSC and also from igor's timeline showing us at mid July approval, my fiance got her plane ticket about a month ago and she is actually coming this Monday (15th).

I'm greatful that we got approval but it kind of mess up our summer plan.

I guess she will be leaving U.S. with all the paperwork in her hands for the interview.....

  3. Huge congrats to you getting out of this horrible process so quickly.

I applied on August 6th and was expected to hear around December 17th...and I'm still waiting.

    Best of luck, my friend!

About a month ago, I called USCIS and I was told that some of the workload were transfered to TSC AND NBC however there was no official announcement. I know my paperwork was sent to CSC but I dont know where it actually got processed.

  4. It may be the case. However, what is the problem of giving priority to DACA? If you think about it, economically, it makes sense. You need more tax-paying legal immigrants. Legalization of current illegal immigrants will significantly increase tax collection. In addition, individuals that are already here illegally due to the fact that they brough in by their parents, did not have real choice but now suffesring because of their illegal status. I do feel for all the VJers that are waiting for their visas but I understand why they are pushing these applications..

Well, my fiance had a job in U. S. legally and paid tax before with her H1 visa. So both DACA and K-1 can increase tax because she will eventually get a job in her field.....since these illegals are cutting inline front of us and sake of getting more tax, their tax rate should be set at 40% or highter.

  5. SO CASE TRANSFERS BETWEEN CSC AND TSC WILL INCREASE PROCESSING TIME ON OTHER PETITIONS @ CSC? HELL F-ING "NO"

I've been telling everyone that major issue on slow processing time at all service centers are due to DACA, some believed, stay skeptical and felt hopeless. It is fact that DACA is main cause of delay at CSC because of intake of these DACA cases and you can see it on here True DACA (March) Data

Recent case transfers from CSC to TSC gave us hope that CSC will speed up on other petitions including K-1. Well, it is only apply to DACA cases that are currently backed up at CSC to balance # of DACA cases between CSC and TSC. Correct, balance between #1 DACA intake service center CSC (128,000 cases) and #2 DACA intake service center TSC (73,258 cases) and both service center are STILL accepting incoming DACA applications. These case transfers are done to increase processing time only for DACA.

  6. Did not say anything about everyone being poor or suffering, but just that the country is? There are economic reasons for expediting their visas as remittances are more than likely to help revive the country's economy. Have some reading on the reasons behind the expedition of Haiti visas:

    http://www.workpermit.com/news/2012-01-17/us/us-congress-members-request-expedited-us-visas-for-haitians.htm

Really? Okay. I dont want to argue with you. Maybe you had no intention but I took it differently, perhaps you should give a second thought before posting it.

  7. Yea the same urgent reasons why some people are requesting an expedite (from a different country) and get denied. I am not even trying to find a logic to this process anymore. And yea they can expedite their petitions as much as they want, only to get to the interview and get denied 90% of the time.... Useful....

Who cares about Haiti cases...these cases are NOT causing the delay or adding workloads. What cases did CSC transfer to TSC recently? Everything was directly related to DACA, these f-ing illegal immigeant cases cause the delay not Haiti cases.

  8. ...you are joking, right? Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world. It is a disaster zone that never recovered from the earthquake, is rampant with crime and disease, and is very much like a war zone with most not living with regular food or clean water.

To compare it to Japan, a first world country, on the. asis of a natural disaster is not appropriate. Japan, thankfully, recovered and could provide for its people while Haiti can not even begin to.

Well, not everyone in poorest country is poor or suffer from disease. There are always lower, middle and high classes in every economy. By your logic, are you saying these people who got their approval are poor or suffer from disease? Probably not.....the point is that they get their case expedited because obviously there is some kind agreement between their goverment and U.S. not because they are poorest country in the world and I can tell you that nothing is FREE.

  9. On March 8th, CSC workloads are transferred to TSC. Only three different cases, being on top of the list is DACA and other two are also related to DACA.

Basically this confirms that DACA is big part was CSC's delay. Americans were put on a back burner for illegals.

It goes in cycles. In a few months California may be the fast one again.

Maybe they have gonr through this "cycles" before but not anymore....

Two basic and confirmed difference since last august : Dream Act and DACA.

There a re plenty of charts and trending reports from USCIS on thid forum so you can search.

These illigals get there visa in 3months now and our waiting time has gone upto 9months. These application are process in original state.

  11. Hold on a second, I think your senator is giving you the answer which you could get from just calling the uscis.

Based on uscis processing time table, they are working on July 18 which has not been updated for while. July - March...isnt that 9 month?

  12. Can you find anything from the government that says Dream Act applications are the cause of the CSC slow down and not anything else?

Yes, there is pdf doc that shows that actual intake and approval # of DACA from USCIS. Seach it. CSC have slowed way down because DACA are done by applicant's state service center, as you know thrre are a lot of mexicans in California.

  13. Still. Newcomers, wanting to jump in line in front of everybody.

I'm not interested or trying jump in front of anyone. Its actually another way around.

Their family should've waited before they made a decision to enter U.S. illegally therefore now they have to deal with immigration system and cutting in line front of us.

  14. A lot of the Dreamers want to attend college or be able to work legally and they really need their social and work permit. They need their social security number to be able to apply to financial aid (FAFSA dateline is coming up) and be able to help support their families/themselves etc.... I personally see how they need the application process urgently and I do willingly give them my spot. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

When I was in college I have wait tables and bartend, obviously there are many bus boys and kitchen helpers....

These people and their family never pay any taxes. But they still work and have been support their family. They usually dont get pay checks instead they get paid in cash. I've seen it many times when I had part time job during my college years.....

So I bet they can still support their family without actual working visa and they still have their love one gere to cheer them during their wait..and they can wait shorter time compared ti some of us....very unfair to me.

  15. You've heard incorrectly. People are always looking for something to blame the slowness on. They have been for years even before any Dream Act. Sometimes California is faster, sometimes Vermont is faster. At the end of the day, they're still slow.

The last thing we need is another misguided, misinformed rant about the Dream Act.

    Misguided? Are you kidding?

Wake up and face the reality.

Obviously some people still dont kniw how to use google....I always get pissed off at these who people start running their mouth before checking the facts.
