  1. I receieved my permanent 10 yr greencard last yr april come August i was arrested for a theft case i didn't know anything about and i was fingerprinted at the time of my arrest. After a week in jail they gave me back my permanent card and all my belongings. Fast forward last month i lost my greencard i don't know how but i cant find it. I want to file for a new one but my question is will the fingerprint affect me when filing for a replacement? Or should i wait when the theft case is dealt with and over in court?Am very stressed about this..I am innocent too.

I would wait. They cannot approve you until your court case is over and judgement given. So if you apply now and it's not over by the time you interview you will sit in AP until the courts decide on your case or  you outright get denied.

    Thanks Ontarkie.

Were you jailed as part of being arrested and detained, or you served out the sentence?  Depends on the crime as mentioned above.  Not sure if by fighting it you mean pleading innocent or getting it expunged.

I was arrested and detained. Exactly i am fighting it by pleading innocent.

To make sure we are clear on this, you mean ROC was approved on 04/05/17?

If you got your conditional green card on 08/29/14 filed for removal of Conditions within the 90 days before it expired, then you can apply for citizenship from 05/31/2017 as omarov2009 says

Yes i meant my ROC. Okay thanks a lot

So I have been a long time lurker here.  Always enjoyed the benefit of getting updates through everyone else's experience.  I have always felt more at ease, knowing that everyone was experiencing similar wait with processing.

Anyhow, my case was just approved last week, after a long wait of almost 10 months.  So I wanted to take this opportunity to participate in this thread.

Case was filed at the California service center.

    I agree.

I was trying to get him to tell me why they called me out of the blue on Saturday or at least route me to the agent who called but he just said, my case is pending review and it will be adjudicated within a year. That doesn't tell me anything..

Hopefully, it was just a routine call but I doubt USCIS does routine calls like that so I believe it must be for a reason. I just hope it's not something important that I missed. If it is, I hope they call back again.

Wow. Okay lets just hope this april they will work on june filers and for us to see some change this Thursday will be 11months for me.
