We have been at NVC for 3 weeks now. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a time limit to processing a petition. We are filing a K1 and it is my understanding that the K1 at NVC, before it goes to the embassy, is just a matter of logging the petition and shipping it to the embassy. So do they have a deadline to process your case? Are there any options to expedite or to find out what is exactly holding up the process?

Just a simple question...(or not) I am the petitioner for a K1 VISA. I am confused what NVC actually reviews and processes...Does anyone know? And how long does it normally take for this process to end. We are going on 2 weeks and see from others timelines that a lot of people get transferred within 1-3 days.

CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG??? Stop this far right...far left and find a happy medium...Stop holding the People Hostage! Our representatives are supposed to listen to the people that elected them...no one asked me anything. LOL

I have copies of my tax forms for the last 3 years and my w2's. Is this sufficient for I-134 or should I order the transcripts from the IRS?

I am filing the I-129F for my fiancees K1 Visa. I got to question 11, which is "Have you ever filed for this or any other alien fiancee or husband/wife before. If Yes give name of all aliens, place and date of filing. A# and result. I have had a previous wife that I filed for 15 years ago on a K1 and was approved. I do not know the exact date of filing and do not have an A#. I called the help line as USCIS and they informed me that I could not get this through the hot line. The lady on the phone told me that I could give my best estimate but am worried this might complicate the process if not exact. Anyone had this issue before? Any advice?

This is exactly what we did. Collage of photos together for each trip. Identified location and date for each set of pictures. Then submitted the passport photos that show the stamps matching the times in the photos.

Helped having pictures at landmarks as well.

I am filing the I-129 f this week and getting evidence of relationship. I was wondering about photos that we submit...Would it be okay, since everything is digital these days, to put a collage of photos together on one page or should each photo be seperate. I have a photo printer and will date every photo. This way we could add so many more photo's.
