  1. I love in TEXAS I've contacted but Senator and Rep. Both have yet to reply or even acknowledge me or my letterS, EmailS or even callS! Both websites of each ramble on about Anti immigration bills and #######! I'm all for safety of us USA citizens but I feel my state senator and rep. have no intention of helping make an inquiry on my behalf an I've confirmed that with DOS that they have yet to do! I suggest if you live in a NON confederate waving flag redneck state as mine that you contact your Local Representitive and Sentor for help in making and Official Inquiry on your behalf! It may not speed up the process but it helps that they inquire!

Maybe I see you both in Egypt (teehee) but I pray we get a response soon! We will we will we will inshallah!!

But it's in God's perfect timing!

Do you ladies have FB?? Maybe you can private message me your name their at least for support as really you have to be in our shoes to really understand! :-)

We must keep positive and think positive!

I hope all our hard times pass soon and that we smile like the sun soon beside our hubby's! :-)

  2. Ours shows Jan. 8th but had not changed dates for 58 days! I assumed that just touched it on that day! But really not sure! I'm stressing out so much I can't sleep or even know what to do!

We are even in talks of me going there (Egypt) a few days but then I hold off with hope of getting a call or letter text or email that visa is ready!

How do you cope with this AP waiting? I try stay busy go with friends to lunch on weekends anything even workout just to keep from going kuku!!

I really hope this ends soon for us all in AP!

    :-)

we are on day 56 of AP...we're coming close to the time frame that the CO gave us and didn't hear anything new!!..I keep calling DOS every other week so far and still under processing..I have quick question, when I check our case in DOS site it give me this msg>>>>

    Immigrant Visa Case Number: croxxxxx

    Case Creation Date: xxxxxxx

    Status Updated Date: 21-Dec-2012

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV.

MY QUESTION IS,since the 21th of DEC they didn't touch our case or every when they update the case???anybody have any idea??

am really tired of waiting :(

  3. AP now for 73 days :crying: !!!! I have not seen any AP Visa issued in last few weeks but.....................

I was reading and saw that all visa issue on or before Feb. 1,2013 will have an added fee for USCIS of $165.00 for staff and processing fee of issuing Green Cards! Website say fee must be paid before departing for USA but then below says must be done before card can be issued so its open to do after also I guess! So this leads me to believe this will be a magical time I issuing some visas and many AP ending!! I don't care about fee just give me my husband and his visa!!! PLZZZZZ!!!!

  4. My husband has been on AP 56 days tomorrow!!!!! I am hopefully of an answer soon too! We had a fast I-130 approval (under 90 days) and I wonder if maybe the fast approvals get looked at more with AP being more lengthy! My husband has a government job telecommunications and has traveled for umrah (religious purpose) to Saudi Arabia and has a master degree in telecommunications from what other have told me these 3 factors make them look more although I don't see or get why! But I do hope your case get out of AP ASAP I just had a friend get put of AP this past week after under 50 days AP! So I pray your case is fast too! Don't lose hope and trust all will be done soon and over!

Keep us in your prayers too plz! :-)

  5. Q. What originals did you get back the only original my husband go back was our marriage certificate that's all!

I am now curious what else we needed to get back?? Helps please! :-(

I am wondering if that's a bad sign that all he got was marriage certificate and nothing else!

I was supposed to go in Jan. for our anniversary too, but hanging on to hope

That we know something's soon! But if after 60 days nothing and we are on day 42 today we decided I will go spend some days

With him cause this distance is not easy! We are waiting and keeping faith that God unite us soon and I pray he do the same for you all here too!

  6. I am in the same boat. My husband's interview was on November 21 and he was placed in AP. From different things I have read, the average AP is 2 months. Some take less, some take more.... Just keep waiting to hear something. The CO told hubby that the paper work looks good but he needs to go through AP. They did give him back all originals and kept his passport so that makes me feel some what positive.

Cairo Embassy does have a website to check case status but I have not had luck finding our case. I did inquire with the Embassy through email and they just told me he is in AP and didn't mention not being able to find our case number.

Hang in there and with luck, hopefully we will all be with our spouses soon. Like others, I want to head over and spend a few weeks with my husband but will wait for the 60 days to see if there is any movement. If not, and politically it seems okay, I plan to go over for our anniversary in February.

  7. we are in the same boat..My husband had his interview end of November ,CO was very nice with him he asked him few questions and he answered very confident,he saw some proofs and pictures and said that our relationship looks good but we have to go through AP!.. he kept my husband passport and gave him link to check our case and said it takes 1 to 2 months..so hoping that AP will go suppperrrr fast coz it's really hard to be apart :(

I know exactly how you feel! CO didn't even look at anything he had and he had a lot to show but said no don't need!

Kind of worried my husband but he was ask you said too kind but handed the paper said check on status!

May God bring us good news before te new year! :-)

Stay positive and hopefully and with faith all will process fast!

My hubby is already saying COME but I feel we are so close I want to go and at same time think no he is coming soon lol that one day I feel I will get next plane out

And following day I fill no be patient! Emotional rollercoaster!

  8. At least the CO's in Egypt gives the timeframe for response, here in Morocco, they tell you: " We will call you" , then you will wait. it may be 4 month, it maybe 1 year.

That's insane I am all for being deligent in their process but at least give a website for us to check as it goes through different channels and desk!

Give us some kind of info. :-(

I hope and pray reforms are made and that your process and all ours gets reviewed quickly and efficiently!

Hang on and have faith this will soon pass I try doing the same thing too!

  9. Inshallah!!! I really am hoping for the best for both our cases and many many more! I was so positive then I got so many negative (the called it relistic comments on another page and said it could be years and I was a little shocked! But I guess all we can really do is wait and pray things pass soon! May your journey be short and soon you be together! :-)

Thanks for all The info posted i hope we are all among the faster processed cases! May happy new comes to us all soon!

  10. This waiting is really hard! What time frames does Egyptian AP seem to be having these days?

Interview was Nov. 6, 2012! They said wait 60 days! But at time of interview Consular, although nice and didn't ask for pics or proof and did not even see them simply have my husband a sheet checked marked AP not congrats no your approved just kept his passport and originals and said check website in a few weeks and max 60 days! But the not knowing is HARD!! Anyone else here in this part of process that can shed some light or hope!
