yay! happy for you. my flight took about 30 hours including transit, but seeing my husband's face waiting at the airport was the best cure to all the tiredness! So happy to know you'll be reunited soon!

my POE at Charlotte airport went well. Long wait tho, as there were a lot of people, and I had to wait with the other visitors, but the officers were pleasant and very nice. I'm just so happy none of my food got confiscated! Now back in the US with my husband, loving this feeling of not having to leave by X date

Today my wife went for her interview. They Interview was easy. The normal how did you meet, has your spouse visited, where do you work, ect..... Nothing harsh. Just (Make sure) your documents are in order. They asked her to bring back her (Unabridged) birth certificate. If you don't have it go get it. The one we have doesnt say abridged or unabridged, so my wife is headed to the Home Affairs office tomorrow to get it. Basically we have her visa after we give them the birth certificate.

For whatever reason they have reverted this month to their old ways of 2nd week of the month. I do think it will start next week when who knows. I personally believe the AOS fiasco bogged them down and all hands were trying to catch that up. Remember nothing was being accepted for new forms for over 2 months.

Indeed.... I stopped feeling so much panic when I saw that I was in a boat filled with others. Fingers crossed for monday or early next week.

So what do you think????? The dates will start rolling out on monday..... last month the for the most part came out between the 3rd and the tenth.....

I just called NVC and was told they started scheduling appointments for August about "a week or two ago." How is this possible when none of us have received an appointment date yet?

Lol I've heard 10000000000000 different answers from those call takers..... best thing to do is be patient........ I think next week we will all be able to stop complaining.... hopefully......

just got off the phone with NVC and guess whatttt !!!?? NOTHING when i ask her if they already acheduled any date for london embassy in August ! she said no not yet !!!

but i cant be soooo sure as the people from the other side of phone seems to say diffrent things every time we call !! so i would love to believe that they still waiting for slots from london embassy

I was told that scheduling of interviews is automated. We are finishing the first week of July and still nothing. I called Wednesday and I don't have an interview date as yet. Anyone call today?

Just got off the phone with them a minute ago and was told that they haven't started scheduling yet and that they are waiting on the embassy to respond. Both are not true.... those call takers are nothing but a buffer for the truth. All you can do is wait. The embassy just tells them what days they can't schedule - NVC schedules the date. My embassy has long ago gave them their August holidays and no schedule dates yet I am still waiting. I hope they get to it soon.... its almost a month since my case complete.

But the thing is I sent everything. I mean every original, to every form filled correctly, and etc. I made sure I didn't leave anything out.

Oh ok. I am taking a deep breath. I will call again today. I heard that if you call NVC so much it will delay processing, have you heard this?

I think you'll be ok..... just stay on them about it. I have had them tell me a completely different answer for som lr of the same questions s few times. Just press them and I got better service when I spoke to tge supervisor (Had to dig things out of her too though )

I called NVC and she told me they are waiting for affidavit of support and other documents. But I sent everything together. Then she says wait 20 days. How will she know I need support if they claim to not have reviewed my file? [/quote

Wow! I've heard of things like this happening to others. I think its rediculous... I had my fingers crossed after I shipped my things...... luckily I didnt have lost paperwork. But good luck........

You have long way to go..... no need to even think anout calling yet..... I filed 09/3012 and didn't get my NOA2 until 03/2013. If yours comes quicker consider yourself lucky, but for the time being, you need to just be patient. You have a very long way to go even after the NOA2. I have been waiting almost 3 weeks just to be given an interview date.

Look at timelines similar to your situation to get an idea, but even they aren't 100% accurate.
