DS230 sent last week....hopefully we get an interview date after christmas. Goign to JA on sunday to be with my honey for new years

after the weekend and the holiday no interview date scheduled yet. Hopefully by the end of this week I have a date in my hands...trying to remain somewhat positive.

getting really frustrated...called DOS today and the visa wasn't issued in Friday like the embassy told me it would be...grrr

I have been waiting for an appointment date from the embassy for 2 weeks and they seem to be moving slow...dont know if it is the holiday's or what! Kind of crazy...Hopefully it will be issued soon. everything I have read says dont book your tickets until Visa is in hand because they can be so difficult to deal with.
