    07/2008 - met while I was in Ecuador as an exchange student
    08/2008 - started dating, went back to the USA

    We lived in Ecuador from 2009 - 2013, and have lived on the east coast of the USA since June 2013. Hubby became an American citizen in August 2016, and we are officially done with our journey. I hope our experience can help those of you just now starting!

    hello....are you still living in ecuador or u guys came already =).....I have a big question i read that you email the embassy to obtain a same day visa pick up. When i call the embassy to request the email they told me that then do not provide one. blah! Can you tell me how did u get your and where did you send the email in order for to try again... thanks =)

      You don't have to have an email to get that service, I just emailed them to find out if they provided it. All you have to do to get it is ask the consul who interviews you guys if you can have it after he/she tells you your hubby's visa has been approved. :)
