good evening everyone thank god today my husband received his visa along with that there are some papers that came with the passport that i dont understand i hope you guys help me figure them out because i really dont understand and i dont know who to call and ask for help anyways

number 1: the first paper says (IMPORTANT NOTICE) i have to file a form regarding a section 216 has anybody done this paper before? its not a form its just a paper saying that if you didnt complete 2 years of marriage we both have to file a forum regarding section (216 immigration and nationality)

and when do i have to file the forum and to who should i send it

number 2: this paper says before we go to the U.S. we have to pay $165 dollars it says to pay them online, is there anyway to pay them other than online and how?

It means that you do not meet the minimum income required to support your husband and they think he could possibly become a public charge. You need to get a joint sponsor who exceeds the minimum requirements in order for his visa to be issued. A joint sponsor can be any US citizen or legal permanent resident. You need someone in your family, or a friend who is willing to submit an affidavit of support. They need to do the same thing you did, fill out an I-864 along with the 3 last years of tax returns along with supporting evidence.

what is the number that i can contact the embassy in Jerusalem to ask about this to get more information and to ask about the Israel police certificate?

It means that the i864 you provided was not enough to support you both and he needs a joint sponsor and if you already submitted a joint sponsor with yours it was not enough either and you need to get another joint sponsor. Get a new joint sponsor ASAP send in the required documents and if that is all they need they will complete the case very soon. Good luck

omgg man i feel soo sad really, so do i have to make another affidavit of support from me as well or from just the joint sponsor?

My husband received a letter from the embassy in Jerusalem today marked section 221g with an X saying that:

PLEASE PROVIDE AN AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT I-864 from a joint sponsor that meets minimum poverty guideline requirements. Submitted I-864 for joint sponsor (name of the person)does not meet these requirement.

My husband went to his interview the past 10 days in Jerusalem,they told him everything is good but the Israel police certificate is missing , which he did one before the interview in a month and after the interview he went and did another one and still i dont know if the received the Israel police certificate or not. and just today we received this white paper marked with section 221g about the affidavit of support what should we do now? what does this actually mean?

Hi my husband finally recieved an appointment letter for an I130 immigrant visa which i his wife applied for him , he is currently in jerusalem where he lives over there and the embassy that he will be going to for the interview is in jerusalem, i have a question is there a payment that he has to pay on the day on the interview and how much?
