  1. ds 3032 is to pay the IV bill, which will take a few days (up to ten) to accept and another day or two to invoice

    the aos bill is separate

once you have given your email to the nvc, and you have your case and iin numbers, you can log in and pay the aos bill

aos bill shows up a day or two after the case number is assigned

Thank you for your information. But I called NVC and was only given Case number should i call back for IIN number??

  2. not long at all. i got my NOA2 on june 11th it arrived at the NVC on the 17th and i got my case number on june 19th. so shouldnt be long at all

I got my case number 7 business days after it arrived at the NVC

Look into members timelines with ur type of petition and that will give u a rough idea. good luck with your journey!

i invite you to read an NVC Monthly thread - you should at least review the May Thread, then read the June Thread also.

    Thank You !!!

  3. Hi JoseOr NJessica,

Congratulations on your approval, you are right we can't just sit and wait, I will tell my husband to get an appointment for infopass.

When you went to infopass could you get any information?

Thank you so much... And yes you must get in contact with them any way you can. I would call and speak with a tier 2 twice a week. I also made two info pass appointments. The first one was useless but the second time i was able to sub. a service request in person. The officer handed me a form that he had me fill out to give to the officer assigned to my case. The question you need to ask is:

    When was my case transferred?

Has my case been assigned to an officer already?

When was the last check in done on my case?

These well help you estimate at least when you will be hearing from them. I was told to weeks ago that my case was checked in to and it was assigned back in may. I wish you the best of luck and remember keep on insisting...

  4. I finally got approved !!!! It took 6 month 13 days of waiting 2 info pass and still going to me 3rd one on the 21st. also i sub.3 service request. But I finally got it .. I wish you all the best of luck and the best advice i can give you is don't be patient, contact them by all the means you can and let them know you are tired of waiting also Now more then ever I do believe that a Tier 2 can see when your case will be approved they are just not allowed to say. I was told by two officers last week when i called to be patient and wait for the 19th. I was approved yesterday a coincidence ??? I think Not .....

  5. Supply them with your tax return transcripts to show you are a lawful tax paying citizen.

No one is telling you to joint sponsor.

I would never request someone to take on that responsibility when you have the chance of being approved.

Just have someone in mind if they deny you at the interview.

They will tell you then to get another sponsor and you'll have time to do so and come back with one.

    Thank You

  6. They will just look at you most recent income. Take a look at this link http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf

It's up to the discretion of your approving officer at interview.

As it's been several months since your employment, you should be good, but always have a backup plan just in case someone isn't feeling very generous.

Make sure you include a letter as to why you were not required to file taxes.

What kind of letter? I was still able to file me Tax returns but the income was not very high because i was living mostly in the Dominican Rep. and Pregnant for 10 months.

Also be sure to include an employment verfication letter, which states your currently salary, and a copy of a pay stub, just to be on the safe side.

It is up to the CO but my husband started working last year in Sept and we were okay but every case is individual as others have said. Have a back up plan just in case.

Remember to be at the interview with your spouse, in the DR it is a requirement.

Thank you all very much for your replies. But you are all still saying that i should do a Joint Sponsorship Just in case, better safe then sorry. Do any of you know if i need their last three years as well??

  7. Yes for some reason any one who applied last fall things took a while. I was approved exactly 7 months after my first notice and now I am just waiting for the cita. Hopefully soon! Its a long process. Good luck with you as well I hope you hear something soon. Let me know if you need anything even though it's different Visa's any support is always good support during this!

Don't worry it will be no time, and yes your right any support helps. Thank you

  8. I can tell you that they never give you ANY info, I have no iea why one is even tranferred to them. They always gave me off the wall answers that made no sense. Last time I call they told me June 24 and my Noa 2 was recieved May 22 so they don't know. I wouldn't follow their advice to much. I found out by checking the USCIS.gov till I was blue in the face until it said approved.

Thanks for your in put. You have been waiting a while especially for a K-1... I wish you the best and hope all goes well for you at NVC ..

  9. Has anyone experienced a Tier 2 Customer service rep. giving a specific date to when you will here something about your case? I called in about two days ago and spoke with a Tire 2 that refused to give me any information on my case. He just kept on saying that he thinks I should wait until my service request is answered on the 19. How does he know when it will be answered ??? I also have a friend who told me once she called in to ask about her address being changed and was told to wait a specific date, on the date she was given it was changed. Also she was approved several days later.

    Please anyone experience this ???
