My case status had been "Receipt cannot be found..." since I submitted in April. Then I applied for a service request online on Monday, Dec 2. I checked my status this morning and voila!!!
DecisionOn December 5, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status.

I did not receive any e-mail but when I checked my status on USCIS website today, they finally updated my status and EAD and AP are approved! Good luck to the rest! You will get approval soon.

Your wife got the first sticker from the H1B visa. Now she has a CR1 visa. I suggest to have her call or visit CFO. And bring the old passport with CFO sticker. She might just need to renew it. Good luck!

The International Driving Permit I have can be used in almost 200 different countries. There is a list of those countries in the booklet. It is not merely a translation but I have to use it with my Philippine Drivers License (which is in full English).
Permit = permission

Congratulations!!!

Fedex is ok. Takes about a few days. Don't use USPS.

Biometrics is finger-printing and picture-taking. It is required so you have to pay for it. $85.
-
Sometimes they need time to confirm some information. You can call the US Embassy and inquire about your case. Good luck!
-
Congratulations!!!
-
No. But I suggest you make copies of it because you will need it later in AOS.

I have read about this drivers license situation with K1 visa holders when I was waiting for NOA2. What I did was I applied for an International Driving Permit in the Philippines. It was about $30 and 2-day processing. So now I can drive around while waiting for EAD/GC.

My suggestion is to call your civil surgeon and ask if he/she can fill out the new form with the same information from the old form you submitted. Maybe they will do this for free. Good luck!
-
My suggestion is to call USCIS and have it corrected.
-
Congratulations!
Did you request to have the visa delivered? The info is already in one of the forms you filled out. I think it's in the online profile when you made the interview schedule.
-
Thank you for your responses. is it a one day processing for the transit visa? Why do they need a bank certifcate if im not going there for tourism?
I suggest to call them and ask. Will you be on the same airline? When you google it, Haneda is more than one hour away from Narita, so make sure you check-in early for all flights.
-
You can fill it out again online and print the new form.
-
Yes, you will need a transit visa to transfer from Narita to Haneda Airport. You will need that before you leave Manila.
Check here for requirements: http://www.ph.emb-japan.go.jp/visiting/new%20visa/transit.htm
Good luck!

Those questions are for those who are currently married. If the beneficiary is not married, put "None" or "N/A".
-
No need to include those travel arrangements.
