  1. We received our NOA2 on April 11. I called NVC on April 24 and they said they did not have our file from USCIS so they could not give me our case number. They also said it usually takes 14-20 days to receive and give a case number. The Packet 3 email from our local embassy in Chisinau came very early on April 30. I called NVC the same day and got our case number. This all sounds pretty typical for a timeline from what I have seen on others NOA2-NVC-Packet 3 email.

    Good luck!

Thanks so much for your help with this info!

    Guess we'll patiently wait again!!!

  2. We received the same response, we never got noticed at the "decision" stage, rather it just changed to "post decision activity" and we were emailed the same comments. Further to this it said in the additional comments that we were approved :)

Make sure you read the furthsr comments/info under the "post decision" comments area? this is where it should state if you have been approved or denied?

  3. Just got notification that on April 29th our petition was approved!!!! we received a message only 2 days ago about our address being changed (mysteriously not at our hands!?)...must have been the adjudicator working on our file...which has in turn led to the approval.

Such incredible emotions...feels like our lives are about to move forward...finally!... I hope the same for all of you on here going through the same journey.

    Our NOA1 date was October 17 2012...

Hope it means all october filers are hearing good news shortly! Good luck!!!!

  5. Hi Kaz & Joe smile.png

I am not sure as well what does that mean but I made a thread about that, check this out and see what other members told me about that change of address thinggood.gif good.gif good.gif http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/427194-change-of-address/

When did you file your petition? I think It would be best if you fill in your timeline so that I can see some details about your case. smile.png

Thanks so much for setting up the new thread. Really helpful :) Sounds like most people agree it means our papers are getting worked on. Hopefully straight through though without any RFE!

Our NOA1 date is October 17...how about you? Ill get onto setting up our timeline!

  6. Ok, an hour ago I checked our status and I noticed that they updated it for the first time. It is still on initial review but below that it says like this "On April 25, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed."

Can somebody tell me if it is a good sign or not?? My fiance did not change his address or anything.

Thank you so much in advance.

    Hi lovelovelove13!

We received the same comments in an email last night!! Neither of us have made any change to our address.

    Can anyone shed any light?

Hope it means that they've at least touched our file!
