  1. Hey guys don't get too excited if your status changed to Testing and interview. It doesn't mean you ar schedule. The only person who canbe sure about the interview is the first guy or girl who posted with there letter saying the date . The only people who are in testing and interview, you can be in that stage for months. I stayed in that staged for two months before I actually got my interview letter. But I don't blame you for being excited, cause I was too when I saw that status update.so it is normal to have your update to change a month after you file. But getting the letter a month after you file is abnormal and really fast.

Good luck to you all in your process. I have my interview in April.

  2. Congratulations for the interview approvals! It is so good to see that everything is going smoothly for you guys!

Today is the 30-th day after I got the notification that our case is ready for interview scheduling! I called the USCIS number and spoke to one of the a really nice guy who told me that I should have received the interview letter already! He put a service request and told me to wait 15 days and see what they will respond!

Is there anybody from the November filers that hasn't received an interview date yet? It seems strange to me!!! I am adjusting from a J1 visa so it's not possible to skip the interview part!

Same with my I haven't got an interview letter and from jan 2nd is change to interview scheduling....knotting yet. I MIT just call my self also.

  3. Hey !!! Im so happy to see progress in your family's case! Woohoo.

I have a small teeny tiny flicker of hope, I called the Dept. of Homeland security SAVE team again and this time they were willing to advocate for me with Texas' Dept of Public safety (The agency issuing Drivers Licenses). I am waiting on someone to call me back to give me some good news.

As far as the fed. govt is concerned, I am all good to go (and drive lol) but it's Texas & the local DPS office that cant seem to get updates ...

    Fingers crossed!

Don't get to frustrated , at least you know your able to work now and have your card in hand. So just take it day by day.

  4. We're done! My kiddos and I had our interviews this morning. I had originals and copies of everything, and hardly needed any of it. I had to show the kids' original birth certificates, and handed in some wedding photos and 2 utility bills... and that's it!

I don't know where I missed the memo, but I didn't realize that our AP would be invalid once the I-94s were removed from the passports today. Ack! Especially since we have flights to Canada booked for 2 weeks from now! No worries though. The officer put our approvals into the system immediately and then we got stamps in our passports to show our permanent resident status, so we can travel without any trouble.

Whew. Such a relief to have this all done with. Nothing to worry about until ROC in 2 years now.

I hope it's the same smooth sailing for those still waiting!

Congrats.....I know your glad its over for now. Hopefully the majority of us get approved in feb.
