Have a safe flight and good luck!!! :)

  2. Just relax, soon your passport will be off to have the visa affixed in it and then.... 2GO for delivery!!

Checking online is the same as calling as they check status on the computer also.

    Very soon...

Hehehe ok thank you so much.. Im just worried because nobody told me if im approved or not. Wish i asked them :/

  3. My mom's case was updated on the same day. But then the consul approved her visa right on the spot. They're probably just reviewing yours. I wouldn't worry about it since they didn't ask you for more documents.

Oh ok. Yeah maybe they're reviewing it but hopefully my visa will be printed soon. Thanks for the advice ca_babe!

  4. Use this link to find out the status, https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

    My mom's case says this.

Your visa has been printed. Depending on local procedures at the location where you were interviewed, your visa will be mailed or available for pickup soon. If there are further questions, or if we need updated contact information, you will be contacted.

Oh thank you for this I checked mine it says I'm ready for interview lol maybe they haven't updated it yet but il check on this again maybe after a couple of days. Thank you so much for this. It'll help me a lot.. ?

  5. @scioverel : you are so fast! we have almost the same timeline in the approval of our NOA2..Mine was on Nov. 19 while yours was on Nov. 20..did u call the USEM to asked if the case was forwarded from NVC?

Yeah I did after we received the letter from NVC but when I called the USEM the woman I spoke with told me they havent receive our case but this morning when the filipino consul was interviewing me she said that the letter from the USEM was undelivered. Dont know why. I asked her if i can have it she said I wont be needing it anymore since im already having the interview. Hehehe.. ?

    Congrats!!! you were approved

  6. Hi Evryone! I just need to be sure if Im approved or not. I had my interview today at USEM. the American consul said my paper looks good and wait for my number or name to be called and good luck. I waited for awhile then at Window 71, the man said "ok you can go home now" he didnt even instructed me to go to the window of 2go.. I asked him if I didn't have to go there he said its ok you are already registered. I didn't hear the magic word "Congratulations your visa is approved" thats why im so confused right now. They also kept my passport. Does this mean Im already approved? Thanks!!!

  7. NO you do not need a copy of the I-129 application, the embassy will already have that (the original from USCIS as its forwarded to USEM)

You only need what is listed in the embassy letter (online).

All the best with your interview!

A copy of the I-129F is not needed for the K-1 visa interview, the embassy has the original documents from USCIS. Waste of paper.

Thank goodness I dont need to bring that hehe thanks hank! :)

My fiancee will hopefully have her interview soon also (we just received NOA2)

Will you stay at a hotel?

    If so which one?

I will send my Fiancee an EXACT copy of what I sent Vermont

Also NEW letters of intent (mine with more recent date and hers to be signed)

    Also I-134 and supporting documents

Hi im not staying in a hotel because my house is just around manila.. Good luck with you guys!! Thank you also!! :)

    Good Luck

    Thanks krystelkyle!!! :)

  8. Hi guys!! My interview is coming and im really nervous. Can I bring a big bag for all the documents I need to bring? And do I need to have a copy of our I 129 and other documents? The one that we submitted when we filled for my k1? Thanks in advance!

  9. congratz. .can you share your experience??coz im having mine next week. .im kinda worried coz i have a scar due to primary complex i had. .

Sure.. ^_^ I arrived at St Lukes around past 4 am and the line was already long. At around past 5 am the guard started to check our documents..I brought the following :

    1. passport

    2. photocopy of passport

    3. 3 pcs 2 x 2 visa picture (with my name on it)

    4. NVC letter with my MNL case number

    5. Appointment confirmation for my Interview at US Embassy

    6. 2 copies of St Lukes Online Registration form (i advised you pre register first before having your medical)

** You can go here to pre reg. --- http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

After that, we sat near the reception area where me and my new friends fill up the form that the guard gave us. (bring an ordinary pen coz they don't allow using a sign pen.)

Around past 6 or something hehe the guard started to call our numbers Im #25 from the Online registration. then the guy asked me for my passport, 1pcs 2 x 2 visa picture, my NVC letter, appointment letter for interview, registration form for SLEC and the form that the guard gave. He asked me what is my name, my date of birth, if this is my first time in St lukes, had my fingerprint scan, he also took a photo of me (its ok to smile ;) ) then he told me to wait for my name to be called again.

After 3 -5 minutes, the guard called my name and instructed me to go to the 5th floor for the payment (P9,366) then after the payment they instructed me to go to the 3rd floor to have my XRAY. The lady from the 3rd floor asked for my passport and gave me a form to fill up. She also asked for the FIRST DAY of my LAST MENSTRUATION.

Minutes later, my name was called and asked to proceed to the dressing room to change and wait for my name to be called again. When its my turn, the nice lady asked me to DEEP BREATH so I gave it my best. then after that she told me to go to the 4th floor to have my blood extraction and urinalysis.

Went up to the 4th floor and gave my papers to the guy seating in the reception area then I was asked to seat for awhile and wait for my name to be called. Then, I was instructed to go to the blood extraction room then after that the lady told me to have my urinalysis.

After the urinalysis, I was asked to go to the 5th floor US Counter to have my vital sign, height and weight, eye check up and physical exam.

*During the physical exam, the Dr asked me about my health history.

Then after that I was asked to go to the 2nd floor for Immunization review. The Dr asked if I have records of my Immunizations. I gave a copy of my Hep B vaccine the one that I had when I was in college. So the Dr told me that I will be given 3 shots. She told me to go to the 3rd floor to the check out counter.

At the check out counter, the guys looked at my papers and asked me to come back at 1 am.

I returned to the clinic around 12NN and waited at the 3rd floor.

Around 12.30 Noon, someone paged me to go to the 2nd floor to submit the photocopy of my Hep B vaccine then told me to wait for my name to be called at the Immunization room. After 10minutes, my names was called and the pretty nurse gave me 3 shots and then instructed me to wait at the ground floor for the releasing of my test results.

    Some piece of advice:

    1. go to SLEC early since this is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.

    2. bring all the necessary documents and bring EXTRA COPIES just incase.

    3. be honest.

    4. eat a lot of healthy foods. esp fruits and milk..

    5. Pray.. ^_^

I just summarized my experience if you have any questions feel free to ask me.. :D Good luck on your medical!!!  :D

  10. Last October as in 2011 or just two months ago? If just two months ago it will be fine.
