Fantastic news!!!! Congratulations!!! I bet you're actually in a state of shock after waiting so long! Go celebrate
Seems you're right it IS happening seems they are on a roll lately. It gives everyone else hope, thanks for sharing, it's so IMPORTANT we get as many dates as possible so we can share the information with others!!
State of shock is right. As soon as I got the text I checked the site and saw the wonderful news I cheered. Then my wife beat me to calling about it and we cheered a bit over the phone. Now to get through the work day and celebrate.
Thank you Shell!
I will definitely stay around this thread even after receiving my GC. I will try my best to help as I got support from all of you!
Your approval and GC are approaching! I can tell !
Congratulations !
Thank you for the congratulations. C'mon USCIS! Let's pick up the pace and get all of these great people who have been waiting for so long through the process.

We haven't posted in this thread but I wanted to let everyone know that it does seem like they are working through a batch today.
At 9am Jo and I received a text stating our case had been updated. Upon checking online we have:
New Card Is Being ProducedOn April 16, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, and will mail it to the address you gave us
We filed our AOS on 4/2/14 and received the NPIW on 7/10/14. It's been 1 year and 3 days but it's happening.
I hope more people watching this thread that are waiting will receive similar updates soon! -
If we do end up doing the flight into Montreal and then doing a land POE it would be at the one at the Champlain border (I-87/A-15) with the cost of flight tickets it looks like this might be the most economical route without factoring in gas and airport parking of course. Our interview is coming up soon so we can start evaluating things a bit more. I do wish the POE reviews were a bit easier to sort through/always had a location included but so far it looks like that one is a pretty good place to enter. We will be leaving a review of our experience as well to help any future Champlain POE prospects too.
Cheers!

We made the announcement of our approval in the forum yesterday but didn't make one here. We received our approval last night around 9pm EST! We were even lucky enough to be together as Jo is currently on holiday visiting me for the summer. I hope more approvals come down the line for others soon!

Thank you everyone! It was a very exciting moment! I received a text from USCIS with no information other than our case was updated. We checked online and it was a very joyous moment! The waiting we did was well worth the moment we were lucky enough to share together. Now just to get through the NVC and Embassy parts.
Cheers everyone! -
there are quite a few people on the list here that have been approved and they forget to update this list..........
We just got our approval for our petition last night. 20 days since being received at the TSC. I've updated the doc and I strongly encourage anyone else that has gotten their NOA2 to update.

I've added my information as well. I also froze the first row and column to make adding info and viewing a little easier. I hope you don't mind!

I just talked to a friend who I just found out is a contractor at the VSC and they said that more adjudicators have been hired so I hope it does mean that the people who weren't transferred have a shorter wait!

Just went looking in the Jan 2013 filers thread and looks like I may be mistaken on the details. It doesn't appear to be going back to the Dallas lockbox, it's moving to the Texas Service Center.
Cheers!
Edit: Thanks for the confirmation UK-USA-K1!

Was just coming to update Jo's and my status on this as well. We just received the same email! My guess is that it's going to the Texas Lockbox to be redistributed to a local office to have the case taken over since that's what appears to have happened to the Dec-Jan filers earlier.
Hoping for the best!

I believe they are being transferred like the dec-jan filers again. It's actually going back to the Texas Lockbox to be redistributed to wherever they are going. From the last round, it seems like they went to more local offices but I could be wrong as I hadn't followed it super closely. I'm a Feb 15th filer and just got the same email. Excited that there is some movement!

If you are already "ranting" about the costs and wait time to mail something to the USA, then I suggest you wrap your head in duct tape because before this is over, your head will explode and you should try to keep all the pieces
Some famous guy said "Never give up, never give up, Never, never, never, never, never give up."
The same guy said
"Yes, I am drunk. But YOU are ugly. In the morning I will be sober, YOU will still be ugly" to the same person, who said if he were her husband she would poison his tea, he said..."If you were my wife, I would drink it"
That should help anyway
I'm sorry but this just comes off as really rude... For a community that is for aiding people in this journey through the system this post seems to be a bad representation. We understand that the process is going to take it's time and it's going to involve waiting a lot. Jo's post wasn't to complain that the wait is unbearable at this moment. It was simply having a poke at the USPS and the fact that sometimes the system you think you are paying for to mail important documents to even get the process started seemed a little slow as it's been sitting in one of the sort facilities for a couple days. She wasn't looking to have a serious rant and rave about the system because the bureaucracy is going to be in your way every step of the way and slowing it down. It was to say "Hey, looks like the usps wants to hold things up before we get started
It seems that tracking is sometimes not the way to go in this case. What do other people use? How's everyone doing." The "rant" about the price and time was merely for being irked about paying for a service that is expected to get things here faster and let you know it's on the way isn't functioning as advertised. It's a break from expectation of the services expected whereas once everything is filed the expectation is that it's a waiting game. We are fully prepared for that.
Seriously, I understand what your post was trying to say. Putting it in a nice and succinct way that would have been helpful you could have said something along the lines of "Trust me, it doesn't get any faster from here on out. Sorry it's got you frustrated. Next time, I'd pay that little bit extra if you want it to get there quicker. Be prepared though, as soon as you get things filed it's a long process as I'm sure you've seen because you've read through the other helpful things on VisaJourney. You have read through those haven't you? If not, I'd go and read up on them and prepare yourself for the full experience."
Instead, your post comes off condescending at best and doesn't actually offer anything helpful in it. Maybe you had a hard go with your own experiences but it doesn't mean you should be looking to come down hard on people who haven't even fully started.
TL;DR - I think your post came off very rude and offered a better way to handle things in the future. This is a community that is supposed to be helpful and your comment wasn't. Don't be this harsh with a first time poster about something that isn't all that serious.

Quick question about ROC NOA1/Extension letter
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
According to the timelines and stats on VJ you should expect them about 5 business days after for CSC and 6 days after for VSC. This looks to be correct as we did get our NOA and extension 6 days after on the dot.
