Ok....looks like a lil confusion here. When the I-130 is approved he can adjust status in the US. He wont be interviewing in the US for another visa.

If wishing to apply for the CR-1 visa even after having entered the US on a K-3 you can proceed with the approved I-130 through NVC and once completed and forwarded to the consulate he can return for the CR-1 interview and re-enter the US with the CR-1 visa, would have green card etc. Some do it this way so as not to have to adjust status in the US on the K-3 which can take quite some time.

I am sure the answer to this question is here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

My husband is here in the US on a K3 visa and now his I-130 has been approved. When it comes time for his interview and the actual issuance of his visa will he need to return to England? Or can his interview be here in the US? Thanks in advance!
