Can i change my last name to my previous maiden name not to follow my husbands name? Is that a big deal?

I am still married with him until now. Just got confused about his number i stated with coz he was using different numbers. What would be the possible results about their decisin it will be denied or need to undergo an interview again. I already gave our documents together and they git it from me.

You will be fine unless you have all te required documents that shows still both your names jointly..an shows that you are still married together

Hi sirinapha we had almost the same case.. Just got interviewed this month and The IO told me decision ant made after the interview but I already passed the test. I just asked about my husband cel number but i gave the old one. And they trying to call him but i was refuse if my husband use still the phone. And also they asked where is he coz he wasnt with me on the day o interview. So just hanging right now nervous waiting for a response. So do you had your response yet from the USCIS?

I had an interview for citizenship this november. I am married with my us citizen spouse. The test about civic history i passed the test. When the IO asked wheres my husband and asked his phone number. I gave the old phone coz i just didnt fix my new phone yet so she called the number I gave but the IO didnt talked to my husband. After that theres a lot of questions about my spouse.my husband that time is not with me. I already have all the documents and they got it from me. The decision cannot be made yet so I am stress out on what would be the next decision. I am worried co even te last name change they asked why? Isnt allowed to change last name and retain your previous lastname i really love my husband but just want to retain my previous one. Someone gave me advice please worry much..
