Thank you so much for update. For Scotland do you interview in London or what? Just want the correct embassy/country shown. Thanks
Yeah I have London on my timeline.
-
Cam I have your case complete date and the date you found out interview date. Thanks I am updating list now.
I updated my timeline I think those are the relevant dates now. June 13th and July 16th.

August 19th at London's US Embassy.
-
Got an email that the petition has finished processing through NVC and they are waiting for an appointment to be scheduled with the embassy.
-
Weirdly never got NOA2 but I've paid AOS and IV bill, just waiting for IV to show paid and barcode to send those in.

Thanks, I just wasn't sure if I could just add it together for total income or if the untaxed income had to be submitted separately somehow.
-
In 2012 I received income from my job and from workers compensation for temporary disability. The gross income from work and the addition of the comp checks is over the 125% poverty guideline. Do I just add them together and put them on the income line of the i-184 form?
I will have 3 years of my most recent tax transcripts, the workers compensation checks and my current year pay stubs to submit.

So my status on uscis still says initial review, but today I got two emails one with a pdf addressed to me and one addressed to my husband that say we are eligible for further processing with NVC. The letters have an NVC Case Number, Invoice I.D. and Beneficiary I.D. Number. It says to pay the AOS bill of $88 and the other has DS-3032 enclosed for my husband. Does this mean we have already been tranferred to NVC and are ready to go with the next steps? Does it matter uscis still lists initial stage?

He currently does seasonal work along with school full time and might do some school related interning before coming here. So I am not sure if that could be a possible angle.
I think maybe I might try speaking with the insurance directly rather than my HR department and see what they say.
Thanks for your responses.

My workplace indicated that my husband needs to get a letter from the NHS or his doctor to indicate that upon moving to the USA he can't utilize NHS and thus qualifies to get on my insurance mid-year via life event (losing coverage.) Anyone ever have to do this? Who do you think can write such a letter? He isn't losing coverage really he just can't very well go to Scotland in the future when he has a cold.
Personally I think it is stupid, clearly moving here in and of itself means he will have "lost" his coverage.

My husband tried to tip a very small amount at a restaurant here in the US and I had a fit, he didn't realize that here they pay people less because the tips are supposed to make up the difference of their wage. When I was visiting him in Scotland I gave the waitress too high a tip and my father in law probably thought I was bonkers, but she was their cousin! I'm Italian-American you gotta treat family right.

Hi,
What is your priority date ?
Thanks
My priority date is November 23, 2012.

I can see my status online with MSC number as of today as well. Turned email and mobile alerts on, hope they work.
-
I haven't been waiting as long as you all but I have been researching this with my husband for a long time and I agree that there should be more transparency on the part of these agencies towards us.
-
If people spent this amount of money on any other service, and got the type of treatment you hear about on these forums, the business would fail due to disgruntled customers. Unfortunately for us its a monopoly....
-
I'm the most impatient person ever, do not like to wait. This whole process is worse than even the worker's comp ####### I went through for an entire year. Too much bureaucracy and understaffed places with people who don't care about you, you are just a number and they probably get praised for being able to deny you.
-
It says Form 1-797C, Notice of Action. Then says my info and that this is a petition for my husband the beneficiary and they have received it and it is in process. Shows that my $420 fee is paid and includes the same receipt number that appeared in the email/text.
-
Technically speaking, you should be able to check it on uscis.gov on the upper left hand corner. However, I'd be mightily surprised if your case number began with MSC and it actually worked to check it.
Ah, I see. Would have been nice to get those advertised email alerts. Sigh. lol
-
Got the hard copy of the NOA1 today, I am to understand the receipt number can be used to check something or other via website now right?
-
Money came out today, at least I know I wrote the check out right.

Sent package November 19th in the evening. Received text and email notifications of acceptance November 27th. (Filing just before thanksgiving woops )
