Thank you for the reply! We actually JUST got the e-ail shortly after I posted/responded. They made an interview date for us without it with just his bank statements but asked for a I 134 anyways. I am okay because I work and on top of our assets and he has enough to cover it on his own. I think they just have to have a backup plan. Woot! Getting there!

Oh! Same question! I work but don't make enough to qualify but my Australian fiancé has enough assets in $ to provide well over that when he gets here for some time. I'm interested to know if I have to file one if he can prove his assets that will be transferred? I hope someone knows this for us

What do we do once the NVC gives us a case number? We should have one next week (they tell us...). What can we do and how soon?

Oh! Same question! Do e-mails get sent out when NVC receives or sends your paperwork to the consulate? Is it something we have to call on or will we get notice? We should call after 2 weeks from the NAO2 or sooner/later? Maybe I missed those answers from before?

We are still waiting on a case number since May 20!

If what they say is true and one country is sent out generally at once, then we might be together? Maybe they wait until a lot of one country is completed and batch send them?

We got our approval! On to the next step! So I know it goes to NVS first then to the consulate. I hope it's speedy! For everyone of course. Not just us! They got back to us in 4 business days. I hope that's a good sign for everyone. Yay for things (although sometimes at a snail's crawl) moving ahead! I have a hard time being patient but I do know I was very lucky so far. I pray for you guys daily! It can only get closer from here!

WE'RE APPROVED! Phew! I was a little nervous there! Still have to take all the last steps but it's that much closer! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

4 business days after the RFE response was received! I was guessing the first part of next week at the soonest! ....siiiiigh.... Okay! I am breathing a little easier now

C'mon...someone...EVERYONE....Be next and let's get our loved ones home!

My status on USCIS is back to initial review. I'm hoping it's just a short wait to see it change to approved! I hope I didn't get set back >.< Man, I get into panic mode every time ANYTHING does ANYTHING in my case! Lol!

Our RFE was received the 29th. I'm still waiting patiently! With my teeth gritted, all apendages crossed and MANY horrible lost paperwork scenerios crossing my mind! Haha! Waiting always take longer when you know you're waiting

We're still waiting for them to actually acknowledge that the RFE was sent back to them. For some reason mail gets stuck in the void for 2 weeks from or to North Dakota. *sigh*

I think having the cases transferred is an awesome sign! Maybe they saw how far VSC was behind and are making similar cases that are touched/approved a priority! I would say 'WOOOOOOOT!' I am still praying hard for you guys! I couldn't imagine the calls of frustration VSC has gotten because CSC had finally caught up! LOL!

I don't know if australia is the same but generally after the noa2 they forward ur case to the National Visa Centre who then send it to the american embassy in australia. U then schedule ur medical. If you head over to the australian forum theyll be loads of advice! (Every time I write australia I cant help but do the accent in my head!)

I'm a little immune to the accent I guess. I never notice it as I grew up with Australian friends as a kid. I know when other people do though. They just sit and grin and never answer him back! Hahaha!

The RFE info is all ready to mail off in the morning!!! Does anyone know what's next? I know the NAO2 but what comes after? I get the worst anxiety thinking about if I'll be prepared to get out what they need ASAP so the waiting is less. Is there a way to prepare before we get anything back?

Exciting!!!! God never does disappear does he? He just waits until his showing up actually means something Now me next please? Heck, all of us at once perhaps?

I use my fancy 'scroll' button if I don't want to see something! Haha! I can't say I haven't read it but I have waited patiently and without complaint. It came to be that the RFE arrived and I'm taking it one day at a time and will continue to do so. I will be the first to admit that I don't understand all the numbers so I don't choose to pay much attention to it. I appreciate anyone who's helped get the ball rolling but I also don't think it was one person or group who accomplished that. I wish I had taken part in kicking USCIS into gear but I don't think I did. I wouldn't know how and wasn't expecting to have things move ahead so early with everything going on. So now I am glad for how far we've come in our journey and my heart weeps for those still waiting. I have been with my fiance for 5 years and I know the pain of waiting all too well. My heart goes out to you and I will always remember to keep those waiting in the future in my thoughts and prayers. With my fiance finally home I will always be reminded of the people I have met, the work it took to get where I will be and the people who have the same journey in their lives ahead. I really appreciate everyone here and I am and forever will be greatful for this site and those who have helped me cope with the long process of being united with the man I love so very much. Thank you guys! <3's! I hope I can help future couples one day!

I just wanted to share my experience so far so if any of you are waiting on an RFE you can kinda see what may be needed for it. I hope it eases some minds! I think we'll be okay! Hurry up and wait more! Ha!

Moments of panic happen. You'll be alright. The great thing about a RFE is that it tells you exactly what they need from you in order to approve the petition. You're almost done with this stage!

Got my hard copy RFE today! They were unclear in the original I-129F about meetings so I explained each meeting for the previous 2 years. They wanted an explaination of how we met in the first place and how we bagan the relationship. Easy-Peasy!

The next thing they needed was more on proof of meeting. We supplied pictures, itineraries and flight receipts the first time. We are adding a complete log of copies of his passport stamps, credit card statements with highlighting of dates/places his card was used where I live and ATM withdrawl receipts sent from his bank. I think we'll have all we need now and I'm glad we have more to give them! I panic-posted for help You guys are AWESOME! Glad to have this site for sure!

It does say, 'Submit information regarding the circumstances under which the petitioner and beneficiary met to establish the relationship.' I am okay with that one. I only explained the meetings within the last 2 years. The question didn't ask about establishing a relationship on the original I-129F. I can whip that up for them easy-peasy!

I told the fiance to e-mail me credit card statements to print out and I will highlight the dates and places on them. He scanned all of his passport pages and will e-mail them to me as well so I can print and send them. I think I may be okay now. Moment of panic!!! Lol! I just felt we sent so many things that the answer would be so much more complicated! It seems easy now that I see the answers you've given me Sometimes it's the reassurance that makes it feel better to move forward.

He is calling banks tomorrow to get copies mailed/e-mailed to him to get to me.

So we just got our hard copy of our RFE. They are asking for circumstances under which we met and established our relationship.No big deal. The form didn't specify so I explained each meeting of the previous 2 years. I wasn't (and they weren't) really clear. Easy fix

The thing that is making us worried is that we have supplied photos of us at each meeting, flight receipts that were only given to us via e-mail and itineraries. We have only 2 pictures of us together where they were time-stamped by the camera. I happen to do photography and I removed my time stamping feature long ago so editing them out later wouldn't be an issue. The 2 with stamps were from my fiance's camera that had been set aside so we could use my better camera. We have almost no photos of us together because we had no one to take pictures of us let alone with time-stamping. We took engagement pictures but again, no time-stamp. They are asking for more to prove we have met and I am scared we may not have what we need! Help! How can we prove it any more than we have! I'm scared >.<

Any suggestions? Miracles?

We can't print out actual receipts for a our flights because they are all e-mailed confirmations and we would print them but they have been removed from the place we booked online. The fiance is scanning passport pages with time stamps on them. Ugh. And more Ugh!

Getting any news has so many mixed emotions for me. I have a hard time being excited when I know so many are waiting their turn. I also can't stop the insane happy dance in me that's been carrying on since I recieved that text. My heart is swelling and breaking all at once! I say my prayers for you guys each day.

I got my RFE e-mail/text on Saturday the 11th but today they changed the date to the 14th and sent it to me twice 15 minutes apart. I am wondering if the cases get looked over more than once? Sunday and Monday my status said they had no information updates for me. It was a little strange and I'm hoping I don't get 3 different things to fill out! Lol! I was certain I had gone over the papers really well. I feel a bit jerk-ish to say but I am anxious to see what it is that I forgot. I HATE WAITING! At least with movement there is hope for everyone!

Maybe CSC will hold the bar higher for VSC and they will get their booties in gear!
