  1. Your plane ticket's destination doesn't have to match the city listed on your visa. You could fly anywhere in the U.S. to meet your fiancé. If an immigration officer at your POE asks you about your final destination, tell them the truth. I doubt they will care that your fiancé's parent's address is on your visa.

thanks for the reponse. i went to the USEM this morning and they asked for the whole packet and the visa I was advised that ill get it back before May 10. hopefully this time they have everything correct.

    thanks :)

  2. And so I called USEM before leaving, and I was advised to call DHS, Dept of Homeland Security regarding the correction on the Annotation, the City, State and ZIP.

And so I called DHS and it's frustrating cause no one is answering, just an automated machine saying to call at a later time.

How would this affect at my POE? Im afraid I dont have much time to get this corrected , flight is on May 10..

  3. Change all incorrect information ASAP or it may cause problems later, Floricel. You don't know why they assumed his address was somewhere else. It could be a simple typo, or there might be some other reason. If they run an FBI name check on him, it will be run on his name and residence. Don't risk delay by making them do it twice; correct it now as quick as you can.

thanks for the quick response . today im going to the USEM to have this corrected. hoping it wont take so much time as my flight is on May 10. :)

  4. hi,

I got my K1 visa on hand and only after the CFO seminar I noticed that the petitioner's (fiance's) city and state address is wrong, instead of Clarksville, TN where he currently lives it is printed as Evansville, IN his former address (parents address).

Does this needs to be changed or it's okay ... Do I need to set up an appointment to get this corrected? How long does it takes?

    Thanks,

    Florecel
