  1. Agree! Monday at the InfoPass meeting the girl flat lied to me. I knew it and so did she. All she said was I didn't know what I was talking about. For me the secrecy and lack of transparency is the worst.

  2. Just keep the faith and be patient. Hope everything is soon.. Anna and I talk daily and spend many hours on Skype.. It sucks not being able to touch her and do those type of things.. but I know soon we will be together and we will have a lifetime with each other.. So I stay positive.. Still wish I were heading back to Poltava right now!! LOL.. Thanks for the encouraging words.

  3. Nate what is the web site? I would be interested in looking at is.. thanks

  4. I am sure we are close.. God knows I miss my girl :) Trying to determine if I can leave the country for a month or so.. work remotely and spend time with her.. wait out the time in Poltava!! we will have to see... :)

  5. I understand. Try to redirect her and focus on the end, no matter what the time frame. Does she have her international passport? If no get her on that take 3+ months and she needs for the interview. AND if you are able head there.. I would if time were not getting short.

  6. Nate... just conjecture and the same misinforamtion. I have written MANY letters and tried contacting everyone I can. IMOHO a government agency run amok not believing they are accountable or need to answer to anyone. More and more I am considering a permenant move.. I am a staunch patriot and love our great country.. but increasingly unwilling to spend more time away from Anna..

  7. We need to find a way to make CSC / USCIS accountable for processing all these applications.. If they need to ask for help and transfer the work load or something.. but frankly this is all unacceptable to me.. basically what I have been telling my Congressman.

  9. I completely agree!! If I didn't have my 13 yrs old I would be dropping everything and moving out of country. Really! OR Pravda as Anna & Elena would say.. At least in the Ukraine you know the government is trying to screw you.. Here we put on this façade of "do gooders and the GOBC" reality underneath it all is the same corruption as everywhere else..

  10. Cool! Anna is from Poltava.. I have the exact same view of our government. My petition has been there since 9/4.. You would think this would be an easy thing to do.. sit on your but all day and work on approving documents.. shouldn't be overly difficult.. well, as you said.. obviously my skin is the wrong color and last name doesn't sound like it comes from south of the bord...

  12. Nate.. I am hoping soon.. would be a great thing to go get her on or around March 8.. what a great time for International Women's Day! My VJ timeline showing should be soon. Also heard someone else just after my date say he was told within approx 45 days. He should expect a decision. God knows I am going crazy waiting on CSC :) :)

  14. Agreed!! Right now it seems surreal. Doubt I will be able to concentrate the rest of the day...

  15. Will do.. I will spend 3 or 4 weeks.. May extend this to fit in Anna's birthday. Will see how everything plays out and timeframe.

  16. At least you have heard something... Probably something simple that can be corrected right away.. But, yes let me know!

  17. Hey we are in a similar boat... our timelines are very close.. How are you all doing with the wait?

  18. Hey! Anything yet? Looking at July there are only a handful of July unapproved with dates before your submission. We are still waiting here. I will be surprise to hear before May.. CSC Sucks!! I ought to come up with a bumper sticker and patent it! LOL...

  19. How did the infopass meeting end up today? Good / Bad / Indifferent? What did you take with you? I have everything including my copy of the K1 packet.. Thanks!!

  20. Will do.. I have all of the paperwork complete.. Thanks to my corporate attorney.. Tis nice when attorney fees are buying lunch.. LOL.. Just need Anna's police report on her end. We have also scanned and translated nearly all of her documents.. I.e., medical records, school documents, etc.. I hear everything will go quick now.. So am hoping for late May to head to Ukraine.

  21. I called NVC today and was given our KEV number. Assuming Kiev designation.. Was told that Thursday package sent via DHL.. 6 days to Ukraine and processing! Anna will be happy when I tell he tomorrow!!

  22. The InfoPass meeting on Monday was a waste of time.. They couldn't tell me anything more than what I knew.. and in some instances denied the facts. I don't understand how things can be so screwed up!! especially since we are law abiding citizens and taxpayers. Anyway the recent liveliness at CSC may spark some optimism.. not sure about that though. we will have to wait and ...

  23. Nate.. How are you all doing on the wait? Keeping your sanity? I think I'm going crazy.. and hoping every day now to see a NOA2 come through..

  25. Nate.. Hey man keep the chin up! I am sure that things will start picking up. Also wouldn't worry about the cutbacks. My understanding is that USCIS is "for the most" self funded. Keep in touch I will probably be in Ukraine in May, unless something happens sooner with the approval. My understanding is 4 - 6 weeks from approval to the interview. We have all our paperwork r...
