We "knew" each other for almost 3 years. We were a couple for... 1.5 years?

I called her a bunch this morning, and finally her "Cousin" answered and asked "What the f___ do you want dude?" and proceeded to tell me that she never loved me, that I am not a gentleman, etc. etc. etc. I do not think that he is really her cousin though, I believe it is her new husband. I am moving on. I tried to be a good person to her, helped her finish her masters degree, helped her not have to work a terrible job, and would have given her everything I could out of love. If she chooses to end it this way, then I was wrong about her.

I still care for her, but I have no choice but to move on.

I am pretty sure it is her. And she will not answer her phone anymore.

On Monday, my fiance (or at least who I thought was my finace) sent me a message on Facebook and told me that she was not going to talk to me anymore, that she never loved me, and that she used me and nothing more. I am heartbroken beyond belief, as I was sure that she was the real thing. It always seemed so geniune, so real. But I feel like a fool.

And we were at the final steps.... the Packet 3 was sent on Monday too.

My fiance has not received the Packet 3 from the Bucharest Embassy yet. I am confused about what she will need from me for this part of the process. I know she will have forms that she has to fill out and return. Does she need anything from me? Or is everything else that she needs from me for the interview?

I will be present for the interview and be bringing all of it with me when I leave on Aug 21 to go to Bucharest.

Age difference does not matter. Simona and I are almost 13 years different.

This is absolutely normal for the K1 visa. It will go to the National Visa Center first, then be forwarded to the consulate. Contact the NVC about 2 weeks after you get the NOA2. They can give you a case number and let you know when it is forwarded to the Embassy. If you contact the Embassy before it is forwarded, they will not know about your case yet.

The wording of the NOA2 for K1 is weird, but then again... It is the Government

I included pictures from my two visits to see Simona. On each picture I wrote the date, the location. Mine were all digital, so it is easy to tell what date they were taken. I wrote our names on all of them too. I did not send a ton of pictures, maybe 10-12? I don't remember exactly. But I got through without an RFE, NOA2 on 7/9/2013.

I also included all my receipts and flight coupons for both trips.

Your income is more than sufficient and it should not be considered a problem.

Just to give you all an update, I got notice at 10:45PM Eastern Time tonight that the case has been shipped to the NVC.

I am just curious to see if there are any other people who received NOA2 on July 9, 2013 and have had their case received by the NVC? I have not received noticed and when I called they said they had not received it and it can take up to 8 weeks... I know the 8 weeks is worst case... right?

So will you receive another notice via email or text for case number and transfer, or do you just have to keep calling?

I was in the same boat as you last week, but then POOF my NOA2 appeared in my email on Tuesday night at 9:00PM. Just hang in there, its coming soon... I know its frustrating, people here probably sick of my complaining. But have faith in your love and everything will be okay.

Will we be able to pickup the Visa the same day as the interview?

Okay, I thought we would have to pay fees at the Consulate, but it looks like I am wrong. Anyone know how it works with Bucharest, Romania?

My initial package was 250 total pages including 10 photos of us, telephone bills, yahoo chat logs, emails, skype logs, receipts from both my visits, and more. I did not get an RFE. Some people send 10-12 pages and get approved. So there really is no way to know what they are looking for, or if you sent everything they are going to want.

I believe you pay the visa fees at the Embassy or consulate that your interview occurs at. Other more versed members will say for sure though.

After two days of me whining and complaining, I came home from the market and found this:

NOA2 Approved!!!! :D :D

Well, after all my complaining the last two days, I feel like a complete jerk. I went to the grocery store with my mom, and we talked about how I would deal with waiting another 180 days if that happens. Was sad to think it could be that much longer for us to be apart. I checked my iPhone when we got home, and I had this sitting there:

We are now NOA2 Approved!

And i just submitted an Ombudsman case, and have an infopass meeting scheduled for 7/16/2013.

Another day and no notice. My congressman's office stated they contacted the TSC today on my behalf about the delay. But I almost think they are also saying anything just to shut me up. This is sooooo ridiculous.
