Finally, after 15 months, my husband got approved for visa. CO told him to pick up his visa within 10 days. It was really an emotional year for me. I lost interest in studies, social life and job. I have done so much like complaining to Inspector general, involved congressman, visited India twice last year.
I can give one advice with you all, follow up with embassy by yourself even they tell you to wait for 60 days or another month. They won't work if you won't push them. Don't let them just use your money. They get money to work not play around. They are just lazy.
If you are strong you will get through it.
