(iVE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT IT (not so good things
)....I am just so anxious about it I cant help it...Thanks in Advance
Hi,
This is the workflow for the medical exam. Might as well read this one, see it that'll help you.

When we called USCIS before about the status of our petition they said it's better not to hear anything till we get NOA2, that means all documents are complete.
Glad to know you are one step ahead as far as getting info on which route to take...
By the way, what city is your fiance located?

Hi,
I've read an article regarding packet 3, stated that they don't send any packet at all instead they'll notify the beneficiary and petitioner through an email being that packets that were sent before get lost most of the time. I tried looking for that article which I have read but I can't find it anymore. I have scheduled my interview this Feb 20th but I didn't receive any packet nor an email.
What we did was, we called NVC and got our case #... and we went on with the process of paying the fee and calling to schedule for an interview.. This is also the step a lot have taken here in VJ, we just tried it.
I am not an expert or anything but I'm just sharing to you what we have done.
Hope our experience helped you in anyway..
Have a good day!

My fiancee had her interview this morning starting at 7:30am.. She skyped me at 12:15pm her time. This is how it went and of course at the end confusing...
First window finger prints
Second call to different window a Filipino reviewed my tax forms, check stubs, affidavit of support and employment letter.
Third window an American reviewed the same as second window and asked her 1) How did we meet 2) Do I work. What I do for work. 3) When was last time I was in Philippines.. That was it. Wait for your number.
Fourth window. Verified her full name and address and said. "Okay maam you can go home now" And that was it.. I take it she is approved as she did not get her passport back etc. Maybe they changed and need to review more or maybe it is just the person handling that end. She said there was a long line and they were moving them through quickly.
Soooooo. Anyone have any thoughts? Is there a website we can go on to check the status or verify the decision??
For those that are not yet at interview stage.. Tell your fiancee to be a bit more pushy and ask if she/he was approved.. Now more waiting.
Good luck to all...
Hi,
You might want to check it on this website and see if this will help you.

Wishing you all the best!!

Hi,
I hope this will help.
I am from Philippines, though there might be some differences from where you're at.
I stated the purpose for " fiance visa application" and most of the time they already know what to do with your police clearance.

After 6 months of waiting, now we're approved. Right now today I'm full of rainbows and dancing around and stuff.
Congratulations !!! Very happy to hear the great news...

July 17th filer here... we got our approval last Jan 14..
-
congrats guys
..thanks
-
..i think it's best if you contact your embassy for the exact info.. that's what i did when i needed reliable info about the requirements.
-
your one of the lucky filer. ours will be 6 months this 23. we call 3 time to the uscis for a service request but did not allow us cos they said we are still in regular procesing time. so i guess. we will just wait wait wait... until it will come. getting worried...
..just hang in there..i'm pretty sure you're almost there..
..as i read through VJ members everyone usually hears something on the 6th month..
..maybe we were lucky or it could be that we are just on the usual timeline..
..as i said our 6th month was the 17th of this month but NOA2 came on the 14th..
..so, what i'm saying is you should be hearing something pretty soon..
..i exactly know how it feels.. just hang in there my friend..
-
..i'm sorry to hear that..we got ours few days before we hit the 6th mo.,we are july 17 filer.. I assume you guys already called for follow-up right?..
..i don't know if what i did helped.. i asked for an online update on the USCIS website and after a more than a week we got our NOA2..
...i also have read previously that there are people here who asked for service request by calling..and got their NOA2 after a week..i just don't know how they did it..
..waiting patiently is the best thing to do but i know it isn't easy.. hopefully you'll get the approval soon..
..try to find ways on how to enjoy each other more..that's what we did, it helps with the frustration of waiting.

Hi guys,
Hope you can help me on this, especially for those who have gone through K1.
We are not sure what will be our next step after receiving a letter for NOA2...
Will I, being the beneficiary be getting a packet with the forms and instructions to it?
And if ever I will, what is the usual time frame that I should expect the packet to arrive?
I would really appreciate your ideas regarding this.
Thank you much!
-
congrats
a week after start calling NVC to get your case number and schedule your interview
God bless your journey
After NOA2 AND YOU HAVE YOUR MNL #
(don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )
Once you have your MNL # you can take your passport and required visa fee (in Php) to BPI and pay your visa fee. The embassy website states that within 4 hours of paying at BPI you can schedule your interview appointment but most times it seems to take about 24 hours.
http://www.ustraveld...paymentinfo.asp
When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number (normally).
Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.
Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other for the embassy.

St. Luke's:http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml#required-docs
Have copies of passport bio page, confirmation page from scheduling interview online at embassy, and of course the 2X2 photos. (copy of annulment is asked for at times)
http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/
Preregister at St. Luke's, it saves time when you arrive.
CFO: ALL exiting required to attend. Things have changed with CFO, for sure follow the link and read the website
http://www.cfo.gov.p...atid=140#ThirdA
Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.
@forgottenlady: CONGRATS! ours got approve a day before yours..basically we're on the same boat...hehehehe.
Hi, just read your post... we got approved on the 14th and i find this reply of yours a very helpful one. thanks!
-
thanks you guys.. we waited for almost 6 mos., our 6th month is today from NOA1 but got approved few days earlier. the wait can be frustrating but what we did was we decided to enjoy each other more everyday instead of embracing the negative side of waiting, up until our approval had arrive..
for us all let's just keep the faith that everything has it's own time....a time to wait, a time for petition approval, a time for visa approval, a time to finally be with our loved ones and so on and so forth...all of this in HIS time.
KEEP SMILING!!!!!
:)

The workers at Vermont have seven answers they can give so don't get upset with them. They told me on Jan 12th that it could be two more months and we were approved on Jan 14th. I have called as many at 8 times in a week as we were anxious. We saw where some got theirs before we did when we were ahead of them. Just be patient and just keep the faith. Ours would have been 6 months on Jan 17th. There is not an exact order they follow. Wish all the best as we press on my baby is waiting now for the interview. Great to have all to talk with on Visa Journey.
-
thank you everyone.. we're up for another journey with the interview..
-
Thank you guys... All the best to all of us...

@JOE & AI: I call it waiting blues..hehe... Hopefully the processing will speed up for all of us... Just can't wait to be with my baby...
-
Congratulations!
Hope they'll be approving July filers as well, as the waiting is killing me...i'm pretty sure for everyone else is but the same...
