  1. try as much as possible to do it in the city, preferable Raleigh. it doesn't take long to change name, we tried changing my wife name in a small town in NC, this drag for almost 4 month until we drove 2 hours plus to raleigh and did the change of name in 10 min.

  2. our green card arrive Three weeks after we arrive, but our names was not fully written , below is an example

    Surname: OKIEMUTE

    First Name: Oghnekewe

Middle name: Johnbull when my green card came out , the names on it read : OKIEMUTE OGHNEKEWE J my daughter had the same issue with her last name, am just trying to avoid any issue in future, should i return them back for the full names to be spell on the green cards?

and two can someone pls tell me what ids the deadline for filling the tax, am still waiting for my SSN because of this error on the name

  3. first time my wife applied at Atlanta, it was delayed and not approve(though we had made some mistakes on the form),

then we correcd it and send to Washington, visa was approve only to be drop at the trailer next door,

you are free to apply at any of the embassy, but we prefer D.C,

am sure your passport is not lost, just hold or ask the mail man.

getting Washington on phone is quite easy compare to atlanta and new york.

  4. I am sponsoring 2 immigrants my husbands (Sr.) and stepson (Jr.). I also have two dependants myself here in the US. On part 3, question 2. states: I am sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time or within 6 months of the principal immigrant named in part 2 (Which will be my husband), but it goes on to say: Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition (which will be my stepson).

    My questions is:

    1. each immigrant has there own Ii130 petition therefore means I will need two separate I-864? Yes or No..... so that mean I would not mention my stepson on his father I-864 as family member part 2 question 2.a & vice versa

    2. If yes that means part 3, question 7 would be 1? Yes or No

    3. Wouldn't that throw my household size off by one in Part 5 on both I-864? because it means my household would only be me(1), dependants (2), and my husband (1) total of 4 instead of 5 excluding my stepson? and the same for my stepson's I-864 because it would exclude my husband. very very very confuse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am having simillar issue just like you did, we got a ref for part 3 etc, pls explain how you're able to over come this. thank you CBO

  5. Can someone please advise......we were informed a month ago that we had a ref, the gentleman told me that a letter had been sent out on the14th of last month! as of today NO LETTTER NO EMAIL.....So i called AGAIN lastnight( which took forever) and he tells me that it was never sent it out!!! REALLY who does that...? Anyway he claims that a letter would be sent out and told me he could not give me a direct time frame of when i would get it ( a week, may two or a month) Now come on ....it dont take no whole month for a letter to travel with in the U.S!! then he tells me that he would send an email......im on the phone "wating" while he on the phone and he tells me i would not get it "right then"....i guess its going to take a whole month for an email to to get to my inbox....any can someone please give me some insight on what to do??? dont mean to vent but i feel like they are not taking our case serious and that bothers me.....
