  1. Thank you all for your replies...I now checked from this official USCIS link https://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-early-filing-calculator where it says in the first line "The information in this part ONLY relates to your time as a permanent resident if you file under Section 319(a) and 316(a) of the INA"

Section 319(a) is if I file as a wife to my husband, in which case the 90-day rule can't be applied in this case because of the above reason I mentioned in my earlier post above.

Section 316(a) is if I file as a permanent resident myself based upon the 5 years anniversary (slated for 12/24/2019), in that case the 90-day early filing can be applied.

    Thank you all again!

  2. I saw that Green Card Holders can apply for US Citizenship 90 days before they complete their 5 years tenure in the USA. In my case, I will complete 5 years stay in USA on Dec 24th. So that means I can apply on Sept 24th for my US citizenship. My question is can I start entering my details in the N-400 Application now and save it for the time being, then submit it on Sept 24th or after. I hope the submission date is considered the filing date, right? I hope the date I open the form is not considered the filing date... Do you have any idea?

  3. Hi All, being a US citizen, I am thinking of applying green card for my brother soon. As we know that for any adult brother/sister is takes at least 12-14 years to get the green card which is a long span of time. Right now my brother is unmarried but he will get married within a couple of years. I want to know, if I can add my brother's to be wife in his green card application as a life changing event after a couple of years while his GreenCard application is under process?

Thanks for any information if you could provide!
