  1. The process is very easy, and i'll tell you what i did before. I filled all necessary forms, i scheduled an appointment for my mother at the embassy, my mom paid the visa fee and had her interview they ask her how long she is going to stay and where she is staying and they asked her if she works she said she is retired, and next day they gave her a 10 years visa.

    I sent an affidavit of support and invite letter to my mother, but the officer didn't look at them at all.

    so basically you are not involved at all your mom's wife need to proof that she will not stay when she visit.

  3. probley a stupid question but i really need help.i am new to all this processing thing.I am LPR and i want to invite my mother from pakistan to visit us.I have filled DS-160 online for her and i submitted the application without her sighn.Now on the confirmation page has appear which she has to take her on her interview day.My question is can this application will be acceptable without her sighn?or they simply reject it on the interview day.please help.

  4. question for every one , any one has same issue like i have ,

    when i check the ceac site it says

    Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) for the next step in the processing of your visa petition. If you have misplaced the instructions sent to you by the NVC or did not receive them, please contact us at http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html for additional information.

    that is for sure wrong it should say , "Ready" any one has same issue,

    they have still old information and didnt update it , i called DOS and they told me they don't know , i asked nvc they told me samething but when you asked them about petition status they say we are waiting for Islamabad to schedule for interview , Da P***

    yes same..it says at NVC.
