How do you know what congress person to contact?? Don't understand that is all. I'm 6 months and two days now since NOA1
You would contact your own congressman/woman from your district. But you will get faster service if you just call the USCIS And ask to have your issue escalated to a supervisor.
Best of luck!

Call back and ask for a supervisor. You can't get ANY information from a person who is the front line... always ALWAYS ask to have your issue escalated!

192 days waiting for noa2,. hope we will hear good news soon. im july 23 filer. at it says here in the vj processing time that today they will process july 23 filer. hope we hear good news today. my faith and hope is high. very frustrating...
Call the USCIS center and ask for a supervisor. Explain to the supervisor that you are looking for any additional information he/she can provide. Sometimes, the systems aren't in sync and you may have already been approved.
Best of luck!

Call the USCIS center and ASK FOR A SUPERVISOR. The supervisors can access other information that the front screeners cannot. The supervisor may have new information that your application has actually already been processed. This happened to me.

Its possibly I'm just overlooking something, but some people talk about certain forms that must be completed and sent back to the embassy after NOA2. What are they and what do they entail?
THANKS!

Hi Mayfillers, What about NVC?
We got our NOA2 on the 16th of November, but when I called yesterday they still havent recieved anything.
Anyone around my date who´s recived at NVC ?
I never got an NOA2 yet, but mine has already been forwarded to the embassy. I had a May 8 filing date, November 5 approval date (never told me until I called) and a November 20th mailed to Embassy date.
I guess you can't really depend on any of the information they give you... I'd just keep calling!

UGH! I forgot to post the last digit... well, you had a 1 in 10 chance of getting it right if you guessed...

We finally got the NOA2 on November the 2nd and was told that it was sent off to Singapore now. Thats was almost 2 weeks ago and havent heard anything back. We tried calling the Consolate in Singapore but they told us they have so many of these that there was no way to tell us if ours was recieved. Is there any other way we could find out? We had some general questions for them as well and they did not answer any of them. Not sure how else to find out what we shoudl do next. We are already working on the forms needed and she has the 129F original. She is going back to Singapore on jaunary 4th and would like to have evrything set up so she could complete everyting then as she had issues coming into US last time due to be in States too much this year
Maybe try calling the NVC And asking if they can give you a DHL number and you can track it yourself?

I hope my experience this morning can help some other people out there who feel they should have heard something by now.
We had a May 8th receipt date. I have called into the 800 number on numerous occasions and everyone said "just keep waiting." So this morning, I called and asked for a supervisor (is this the "Tier 2" I've heard about?)
The supervisor looked up our case and we learned we were actually approved back on November 5th but never heard anything about this.
I contacted the NVC after that and learned that the packet was actually sent to the embassy on November 20th!
So if anyone thinks things are lagging in Vermont, call and ask for a supervisor!

How is it that CAlifornia goes so much quicker?
We've been waiting for a May 8th date in Vermont and its like California is already approving I129Fs that people haven't even filed yet!

I hope so too hehe.. I wonder how long they have off for Thanksgiving break ?1 Does anyone know ? Please & thank you
I have a May 8 date and called. They said that its just the way the system works. A lot of paper pushing is done on multiple cases simultaneously and I guess sometimes, Peter and Olivia from May 24th get shuffled before Jane and Armando from May 16th.
I've had to schedule another visitation trip just to keep my sanity, even if the notice should be out any day now... I hope traveling is cheaper during the holidays *sigh*.

I got my NOA1 May 8 and it's been 6 months and 4 days already but still haven't got the NOA 2. I just want to know if some of you here haven't got NOA2 until now. I know the wait is taking us forever and it's just so hard to keep on counting the days when we will finally receive our NOA2. Anyone here whose NOA1 is between first and second week of May who are still waiting? Let's motivate ourselves guys
We are also May 8th and haven't heard ANYTHING... this really screwed up our planning to see each other in November/December. Now, it looks like we won't be at the Embassy until January at the EARLIEST.
Not sure I can take another sad response from my fiance when I give her the bad news that we're still delayed. UGH!

My wife and I met a very nice couple in Bogota going through the same process as we were, and we never heard from them again, but were curious as to how they made out.
Does anyone know of a Richard and Claudia who had their appt. in Bogota at the end of January, or maybe it was Feb. 1. Does anyone know them? Are they on here still? Richard said he was on this forum back at the time.
Thanks!
